Great for single outlet exterior box if you need space for 2 12v plug adapters. They screw into existing holes of single gang box and enough room on both sides of plug for the various adapters that plugin sideways, NOT up and down 12 V adapters as you will have the typical problem of not being able to plug 2 of them on top of each other.

Does what it says BUT the cover will only be mounted if the receptacles/switches AND box are mounted vertically.If you mounted the box Horizontally, with the devices screw holes in the box horizontally, It's N/G!This will have to be mounted horizontally and not be weather tight.Amazon should change it's description to vertical only.

This is a nice, very large in-use box. I was looking for something big enough to fit the Elk TRG2440 24VAC transformer plus still have access to the second duplex receptacle, this box was the biggest I could find and does the job perfectly. It's been several weeks since installing this on the exterior wall of the house and the inside of the box has remained clean and dry through a couple nasty dust storms and one heavy rain.

I purchased this outlet cover to replace the normal 2 plug outside outlet cover and it more than met my expectations. It provides a variety of installation options, including top, bottom left or ride side opening with slots for 4 cord openings. It has weather protective seals and keeps out all moisture, and the tab to open the cover is easy to operate (one finger) and flips open to 150 degrees.I could find no deficiencies with this cover and would purchase another if I had the need..

We bought this to childproof an indoor electrical socket. My baby was pulling out the plugs to important machines so we covered it and although he definitely tried, he could not open it up. it is a tinted cover which is not quite what I call gray.

The weather boxes work great-good enough that I ordered two more! They were delivered on time as advertised! The only bad point about about the Eaton WIU-2 Weather Box is the price is a little high!

Works great. I use this to keep a battery maintainer connected to my motorcycle. It keeps the weather off of the outdoor receptacle. It took about 15 minutes for me to install and I'm slow.

It was promising but turned out disappointing. The transparent cover looked good but the inner receptacle plate didn't fit my existing outlet. The electrical outlet I wanted to use it on has a horizontal layout and the product comes with different inserts that could supposedly accommodate any layout. Alas, the horizontal plate was too wide and didn't match my outlet's existing screws and it didn't have a center screw hole where I could have mounted the cover. The product description neither carried any information nor any photo about the inserts so there was no way of knowing the dimensions.
