I'm out and about fishing a lot. Sometimes I don't want fast food. These peanut butter packs and some jelly packs - peanut butter and jelly on a plastic knife with some crackers - and I'm good to go. Tasty.

I was looking for bulk 1.5oz JIF to Go for my 2nd grader's lunch. He's a picky eater and somehow has survived the last several years mostly on PB&J sandwiches! In Kindergarten her wasn't eating his full sandwich and after just a few weeks stopped eating it all together and you probably know why - the jelly made the bread too soggy. So I tried just PB (and he does to just PB sandwiches, so nothing new) and same thing... But it was the bread got weird for him. This whole time I'm using a hard plastic sandwich container, not a plastic sandwich bag because I didn't want it to get beat up in the lunch. So I started putting peanut butter in a small container and that worked! But I felt like I was wasting a lot of PB that was being left in the cup (plus the time) so I found JIF to Go as a perfect solution. He loves them!So this year I wanted to be proactive and buy in bulk and have them all for the school year, or a chunk of the school year, so I didn't have to run out just for them. (I mostly shop at a German-based small grocery store widely found across the US that doesn't usually carry name brands - I went out special to the local Big Chain grocery store or a Big Box retailer for them, but it could be hit-or-miss as to being in stock at any of them.)So of course Amazon should be my solution right? I find this listing, I'm amazed, I wait until the new school year starts to order, here they come and... I wasn't paying attention. This listing is 100% ACCURATE but in my haste I misread it. These are 3/4 ounce, so half the size. Easy solution: put 2 in each lunch. No... He's very wary of something new even though it says JIF. So he needs to try them first. Ok. They taste the same, he's in. Not sure how long it will last (see Sandwich Adventure) but that's on me for not seeing the difference.These are the same size you might find at a restaurant or hotel that may give you individual peanut butter containers for spreading on toast or a bagel (if you're into that) at breakfast. Same JIF quality. Perfect for on the go if the actual JIF to Go may be more than you need. And per ounce, these are actually cheaper than JIF to Go, haha, but probably not a jar, which is why they're good for on-the-go.

Bought these thinking theses were the larger size. Thought it was a GREAT deal. Lol oh well the hubby is just taking a lot more for his lunch. Read the portion size folks.
