Soft and Stable is the best!
After years of making bags (mostly) and other items I am very pleased to find Soft and Stable. It gives your project just the right body. The bag pictured stands up nicely on it's own and never loses it's body. The shoulder strap cushion I added is nice and soft due to the Soft and Stable. A friend had me make the kitchen towel to hang on a drawer pull. Instead of the top being lifeless after the laundry, the soft and Stable allows it to keep it's shape. You put in a lot of time and effort on projects and Soft and Stable makes them look professional, is easy to sew and keeps them looking great. Worth every penny!!

This was requested for a purse pattern that I wanted to make. It sewed beautifully into the pieces that required it. I'm not sure how the purse as a whole will be as the instructions are difficult & I keep getting frustrated.

McDreamy Stabilizer for Sewing Purses and Bags-Just the Right OOMPH!
Well, I am in LOVE with this Soft and Stable! I used it for the sides and base of a purse I made from decorator fabric and it sewed like butter. The product I used to use would leave sticky residue on my machine needle and was a nightmare to sew over. This stabilizer provides a cushiony soft but firm base for my purse that allows it to stand on its on when I set it down and not flop over. It gives a very substantial and professional look to my bag. I will definitely continue to use this for any other bags I make.

This was great for my placemat making!!
This batting was just the perfect size to use for placemats (finished size 18" by 22") I also used this batting with spray adhesive and it performed well. It's the perfect size and density for a place mat project. My only objection was that I wish it came in a bigger package size. Maybe double the length.
