Odyseaco Weighted Blanket, Sleep Help for Adults and Kids, 150 x 200 cm, 11.3kg, Blue

Purchased the 11.3kg king size which is way too heavy for me but perfect for my husband (we have separate beds for medical reasons). He was a bit dubious of it at first as he tends to get hot in the night and uncover himself, then get cold and recover himself (he’s a nightmare!) but it was a relatively short time for him to get used to it. If it was me I would think it is too heavy to move about so much but he’s quite strong so was easy enough for him. He suffers with insomnia and restless legs but has found that using this really helps with the restless legs which in turn helps him to actually stay in bed a bit longer instead of the usual pacing the house at 2am so that’s given me a bit more sleep too! It was a bit cumbersome to actual get it on the bed to begin with but once it’s on it’s all good. Would definitely recommend making sure you get the correct weight for yourself as for me as a very petite lady this would have been far too heavy, I’m not sure how couples that actually share a bed but are significantly different body weights would cope. Yes, the initial outlay seems expensive but honestly it’s a quality well made blanket that looks sure to last a long time and the disposable cover will make washing a bit easier.

I got this blanket to help with my anxiety and in the hopes that it would help my husband stop grinding his teeth at night. And perhaps lessen his snoring, and to my surprise, it’s done both. I don’t know how or why, but he’s stopped grinding his teeth and his snoring is almost gone. He says he’s been getting a better sleep overall and moves around less but still wakes up every now and then due to the weight of the blanket, which I do too. It’s very heavy. In terms of size it covers both of us quite well and I thought that since we’d be sharing it that the weight would be distributed between us but it’s still really heavy. I like the weight on my legs and feet but find that I’m also waking up more frequently when I try to move as it takes a bit more work than a normal blanket to turn and find your comfy spot. That being said, while you sleep or are falling asleep, it feels great. I love having that weight on me. I can’t say yet if it’s helped with my anxiety or that it gives me better sleep as we both are still waking up at night only to adjust the blanket so that interrupted sleep has been leaving me a bit tired in the daytime bc I’m not the type of person who can just fall asleep right away. I think it will just take some getting used to. I know this review seems all over the place but basically it’s a good blanket and has helped myself and my husband in certain ways but it does have its negative aspects as well. We really hope it does improve our sleep in the long run as it really was quite expensive so we’re hoping it was worth it.

This blanket is very heavy. It is very good quality material used and comes with a duvet cover. It will need 2 people to put this on because of the size of the blanket. This blanket gives u a sense of feeling safe and relaxed so it helps u sleep much better. Overall I am very happy with my blanket an feel it’s definitely worth the money spent.

This was a repeat purchase of the 2.2m x 2.0m 11kg blanket bought one year ago as a gift. This purchase, although described in the title as 2.2m x 2.0m, in the specification was described as size 2.2m x 2.0m but confusingly in the dimensions as 2.0m x 1.5m. It turned out to be 2.0m x 1.5m. Disappointing!

upon receiving this blanket I almost fell over at how heavy it was I was thinking oh no it will be too heavy over me . BUT I was pleasantly surprised and shocked at how good it feels over me ,it is not at all heavy when over you , it comes with a cover , it keeps you warm and cosy not too hot nor too cold , it also made me feel calm as I was very anxious that day . So it’s a win win from me . I have Praised this blanket to everyone and anyone who will listen and my family are looking into buying there own ,even a picky husband loves it also . We have only used this over us and nothing else since it arrived ,it’s truly the best blanket I will ever need . Brilliant buy 100% .

The size information for the 200x220 cm option is not correct. Actual size is 150x200 cm, which in reality is a bit smaller even.Was made to believe it was a mistake with the first delivery, but was send the same small one the second time also. Weight did match the listed product information.Overall bad experience with this purchase, both will be returned.Productwise itself, it seemed okay I guess it was quite warm but seemed to do the job.

Amazing blanket, I opted for the heaviest in line with my weight.. And being an insomniac of many many years, I was desperate.. I don't stay asleep all night, but I certainly do fall asleep quicker and and with far less restlessness..I love it I am sure with a bit more time my sleep could still improve more. 👍🏻

This blanket has been a game changer for my sleep pattern and also for helping me with restless leg syndrome,fibromyalgia plus neuropathy.It is made well & the right weight for me. I hope it continues to improve my symptoms.
