Worked great. Plugged right in just how it should, fit perfect, and now all my widows roll down.

I've owned my XJ for nearly 15 years and for much of my time only the driver could control the windows. Usually not a problem but occasionally it is. Eventually, I decided to stop procrastinating and do something which ultimately involved installing this switch assembly. Compairing appearance, it looks identical. The toggles have a good feel, unlike the other more expensive assembly I tried which was quite stiff and a bit crunchy. Installation was no different than if using an OEM part ($$$). After install, everything works as it should. All windows work from the driver's seat. Each other door can control its window. Price was good, if the assembly doesn't last for another 25 years, I can replace it with another.

Ordered this switch module to replace one that was having issues for a while. Windows could only be controlled using the driver's side panel. This was a common issue woth the lock mechanism on the driver's side switch. Everything now works after replacing. I also did the fix to bypass the lock and fixed slme broke and frayed wiring in the door, which is another common issue on Jeep Cherokee XJ's. Hopefully this lasts. But I do see these have a lifetime warranty. Hopefully I never have to test that warranty process.

The good ol Cherokee. I find myself on Amazon & rock auto looking for something to fix something on it more than I really care to. The last year of the XJ & Chrysler still couldn't figure out how to make the master switch window lock not fail. But, alas, they never did. Thankfully, switchdr has these for $19. I know I could have fixed the issue with a paper clip, but this poor old SUV is already held together with hopes, dreams, a little electrical tape & some self taping screws. Iykyk. The switch looks similar to factory, just not 24 yrs old. All of the windows roll down independently from their own door now. My wife is pretty stoked about that. She no longer has to beg me for a gasp of fresh air. But the lock button is still there if I were to choose to pass gas & crank the heat. It's a win/win for $19. Easy to switch out.

My Cherokee Sport ‘99 door switch panel started to have some issues (window lock button stopped working/stuck on lock a year or so ago), then passenger window was opening and closing very slow, then the driver side window would require several tries to get it to open and close the window. Eventually the driver side window wouldn’t work at all, no window motor noise either. It was either wiring, the window regulator/motor (but I replaced that a couple of years back) or the switch. After reading some message boards I decided it sounded more like a switch problem and I found this switch on Amazon for cheaper than my time would cost to test wiring, open the switch housing and make soldering repairs etc. It arrived in 2 days, took me only 20 mins to take the door panel off, install and test the new switch, then reinstall the door panel. Everything works perfectly and the bright orange switch lights are a nice touch. Much cheaper than a garage parts and labour and quicker process too. Highly recommended!
