Used to adapt the OEM XM shark-fin antenna to my aftermarket stereo. 2006 GMC Yukon, Sony XAV-1000 and the SXV-300 XM tuner.Just had to pull the yellow plug out of the factory tuner above/behind/right of the glovebox and then into one side of this. Then the other end of the cables goes into the aftermarket tuner, which I zip tied to a column behind the glovebox. That has a cable that I ran up into a crevice to get into the back of the aftermarket stereo.Only downside is the housing for my antenna side connector broke while unplugging from the factory tuner, but this still friction fits really well. Sound is great and just as reliable as the factory system, and this looks way better than having two XM antennae would have.

I've been having trouble with interference and random dropouts of reception on Sirius XM for quite some time. The problem has gradually gotten worse with not being able to pick up satellite radio at new locations. Since the receiver/antenna wasn't changing it must have been environmental. In doing research on the problem I found that older model Sirius XM factory antennas are susceptible from interference from mobile telephone systems (T-Mobile).To solve this annoyance, I purchased a new third party antenna only to find that it wouldn't connect with the receiver because of the connector. This little adapter does the trick and works perfectly. One little problem with the FAKRA connector system is that the connectors are color coded with keys and only matching connectors are supposed to mate to it's color. This connector interfaces with all of the FAKRA connectors so it doesn't need to match the color. Nice!!!

I bought this antenna adapter because I was upgrading my factory radio in my FOrd Fusion. Since the car has the satellite antenna built into the AM/FM antenna, I didn't want to add a separate antenna for the after market sirius/xm tuner I was adding. I googled what antenna adapter I needed and this one came up.Installed nice and simple, and works perfectly.If you are in the market to upgrade the factory radio in a 06-12 Ford Fusion that has the sirius/xm tuner and antenna built in, then you will want this adapter so you don't have to deal with running another antenna.

This worked outstanding to connect my 2010 Jeep Wrangler original equipment XM antenna lead to a new Sirius XM tuner that connects to my aftermarket head unit. I didn't want to run a new antenna, and this connected the two perfectly!

Worked on my 2013 ram 1500 with the 8.4 uconnect. I needed something to adapt the factory xm antenna to an aftermarket radio and this did the trick.

I've installed a brand new Alpine iLx W-560 Radio in my 2011 Nissan Rogue SL. The radio didn't come with any Sirius XM connections. I purchased this little cable along w/ my turner. My satellite channels came in and I'm a happy camper.

Wasn’t sure if the quality but it plugged in securely and works as it should. Better than having to use the aftermarket antenna when the OEM was usable.

Works well with BMW E82 (note that components are same as E90 so it should work with those too). So i was able to use original bmw oem xm antenna with aftermarket radio. I am really pleased.
