Forever shears.
This tool is a tough little bugger. When you see it in person you think, "I could cut sheet metal with this." Of course you don't want to do that if you need to cut braided fishing line. But I'd bet you could. Buying these shears makes me want to invest in a Gerber plier that is salt water resistant. They build good stuff. You may think it expensive but it's simply not expensive if you only have to buy it one time. That's the kind of equipment I want. When my dad passed away, I got his fishing stuff. Everything he had was top quality. I'm still using some of it today and I'm 72. If you like things that work and work well, you will want a pair of these shears. You won't be disappointed.

Great scissors
These scissors cut through anything! Small enough to attach to my fishing vest but large enough to cut though braided line. Very pleased with the use of these scissors. Would like a lower price, though.

Good for cutting line
Only had for a couple weeks, but so far they cut through mono / braid / fluoro with ease, and are generally comfortable in hand for their small size. For the price you pay, a sheath of some sort should be provided to keep them snugged down to a bag or strap. I also would prefer these be made in the USA, but I couldn't find any suitable alternatives that were American made.

Small
Finger holes are too small makes them a little cumbersome

Great quality and a perfect size
I've tried all kinds of different brands and sizes for my salt water fishing. Either they were getting rusty and dull, or plastic/rubber parts were breaking after some salt exposure. I've used these for about two months and so far, they have been great! Look as new, still sharp and barely any rust (if washed down after each salt water exposure). Very happy and should have purchased Gerber right away, instead of wasting my money on cheaper brands.

Cuts Heavy Braid Well
This is an excellent tool for salt water fishing. Cuts my 85 and 100 lb shark braid easily and smoothly. So far, they seem very corrosion resistant with a simple rinse after use. They make a great addition to my surf belt. They are very solid and well designed and easy to operate with messy hands. I like the rounded tip for use on my surf belt so that I don't accidentally impale myself. Just an overall nice tool for the saltwater fisherman. I bought the fresh water model first and really like them. When I got into surf fishing, I thought the salt water model would be better. I could have saved some money just buying the saltwater model first.

These are the fishing scissors to own!

I've had a bunch of cheap braid scissors and they've all been either terrible or very average. I finally spent the coin and purchased these... they're awesome. Very well built and cut so nice with no fraying. I should have just got these first time and skipped all those cheap scissors. Get em!

These are really massive. Very clumsy to use. Perfect for ocean fishing with 200 lb braid but for ordinary fishing they are overkill. Please make a smaller pair with the same cutting technology.

Best braid cutters I have ever had by far. Not cheap but worth the money.
