Good stands for small speakers, gets the job done
These stands are somewhat flimsy and will sway if you bump into the speaker stand with the speaker mounted to it. It can really only hold like a few pounds because the adjuster will collapse if too much weight. I would buy them again for sure for my small Klipsch satellite speakers

Can't beat the price!
Ok so I was recently able to convince my wife to let get a couple new home theater pieces which included a set of Definitive Technology ProMonitor 800 for our surrounds. Well for some reason Best Buy doesn't carry the correct speaker stands for the 800's and come to find out after a friend bought the same speakers and we were both in the same boat I found the Definitive Technology ProMonitor 800 speaker stands here on Amazon. Well price is always an issue with me but not with my buddy so he went ahead and ordered the Def Tech stands for $$$. Well I'm glad that I waited because they were way to low for me and my wife! so I took a chance with the Vantage Point SSH-40BB knowing that they were a 1/4 of the price and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with them! They are great! Adjustable and stable, just remember when ordering stands and even looking at stands to know how much your speakers weight! I think that's probably the biggest problem when looking for speaker stands!

VERY Limited in Adaption
First of all, the photo of these speaker stands is very unrepresentative of the stands delivered. For example, take a look at the wire speaker supports at the top of the stands. They look like they are tall, and like they are highly adaptable for a variety of speakers (I even went to the manufacturers web site to TRY to get a better look at them). Unfortunately, they are only about five inches tall and can only be adjusted in-out about ONE inch. That's not a lot of room for adjustment. Too bad. If they had included two or three more of the wire speaker supports to accommodate different sizes of speakers, this product would be a four or five star rating. Just a shame. I am going to return these and try the Sanus Systems EF-SATB stands instead. Good Luck!

these are great and a great price including shipping!
Great to keep your universal speakers off the floor, great price, EZ to put together, great price and free shipping right now any ways! Look way more expensive than they really are, my old ones broke which were really expensive for my JBLs, these look like factory replacements for my surround sound speakers! Great!

Not worth it
These stands suck ass... wouldn’t recommend for the lightest of speakers... waste of money in my opinion

Cheap with a capital C
Assembly is actually quite difficult with this stand. It requires you to screw a very small machine screw into the plastic top piece of the stand. The hole for the screw is undersized so that the screw will grip into the plastic so you really have to muscle it in there. I'm a medium strong adult male and don't think a person that's much weaker physically than me could have managed it. Might have been easier with a powerdrill but the screw is extremely small and strips easily; I barely got it in there without completely ruining it. I recommend you start with a small screwdriver to get it started then switch to a bigger screwdriver to get more leverage on it. Also, screw it in a little, then back it out some, then screw it in some more, etc. This is your best bet to avoid stripping. The metal tubes that make up the stand are extremely small and thin (about 3/4 inch diameter) and break easily. It was my fault, but while the lower tube was screwed into the base, I applied a little bit of sideways force to the top of the stand and the tube broke off at the base. It did not bend, it broke like a stick. Luckily there was still a little bit of the tube that could still be screwed in and I've repaired it with some putty epoxy so hopefully it will hold.Based on the tiny amount of force that caused the break, I don't think this stand would survive a fall. I would recommend getting something a little beefier but if you do buy this stand, be very careful with it.Also set the stands to the height you will be using the first time because once you tighten down the adjustment, it scrapes the heck out of the paint.Other than that it works great!

Weak
I just got these stands for my onkyo S5100 HTIB system. I researched a lot and these stands claimed they could hold up to 8 lbs. The speakers that came with my system are around 6 lbs. The stands barely stay upright. And there's no way to extend the hight because the locking mechanism is too weak to hold up the speakers. These might be a great choice for really little light speakers but not for anything more than 4 lbs. (my guess).

Vantage Point Speaker Stands
They're speaker stands what can you really say but I did not have one bad experience. The shipment was received in a timely manner and the speaker stands are sturdy and hold the speakers great.

I'm pretty sure any kind of flat-bottom speakers can be put ...
I needed stands for my 5.1 satellite (back) speakers and found this. They are the cheapest I could find. I'm pretty sure any kind of flat-bottom speakers can be put on this with the little velcros that come with it.
