AmbiVision PRO (150 LEDs for 43 - 64 inches TV, RGB)

I've been using Ambivision for some years now since the older version and decided to give the "Ambivision Pro" a go.Once you watch a movie with Ambivision, you won't want to see a film without it! It's mesmerising... It enhances the colours, mood and experience... seeing is believing as they say - you just need to see it, it's not worth me describing it!The problem with the old version was that the set up was awkward. You needed a PC... and a series of adapters, wires and connections which just wasn't straight forward especially for a non-techie person. To top it all off, once it was set up... it didn't last long before you started running into problems with the device, software, etc.The old Ambivision also needed to run via another device, like an Apple TV, Chrome-cast, Fire-stick etc. It could not without an external device, i.e. with just a smart TV... as the adapters needed to pass via a video source.Ok... now onto the Ambivision Pro. The wiring up is much easier... since the lights now have a wireless dongle that speaks to a camera.Here's how it works in simple terms...The LED light strip attaches to the back of the TV... and has a wireless dongle connected to it that speaks wirelessly to the camera.A camera then points to the TV. The camera needs to be at least 40 cm away from the TV. Now, you'd need a ledge directly in front of the TV... with enough distance. A table in front would not be practical, as you'd have it in the middle of the room. If you decide to attach it to the ceiling, don't forget - you'd need a power source to plug it into!The new Ambivision, unlike the old one doesn't need ANY source to pass through it, as it captures the imagery and colours of the screen via a camera. So you can in this case beam up anything to the TV, even via smart tv apps and it'll work.The new version now comes with a app... so no need for a PC.The app gives you good control, enabling you to switch modes, etc. via your phone.The only downside is that it takes a while to figure out and get the settings right, but their support is friendly and responsive enough - they'll log in remotely to your phone and control your device until you get it right if need be.Final thoughts: Once you have used Ambivision, you won't to watch a film without it... so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Eine der wenigen alternativen, die gut funktionieren, alltagstauglich verarbeitet ist. Nachteil: Stõrfaktor Lichteinfall von der Seite. Die Kamera sollte fixiert werden, sonst ist immer wieder neujustierung erforderlich, Wenn diese Hùrde überwunden ist, hat man ein besseres Produkt als das Philips Ambilight und ist zu Hue Philips kompatibel. Es ist ein Ambilight und kein erweitender Fersehschirm. Mir macht es Spaß und bereichert mein Konsolen und Ferseherlebnis. Der Service arbeitet leider nur englischsprachig. Fragen werden zügig behandelt. Die Beschreibung macht das ganze umstændlicher als es ist. Wenn man verstanden hat, wie sich die Kamera mit dem Hauptmodul per WLAN verbindet, ist das ganze ein Kinderspiel. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt es für die viel zu komplizierte und unzureichende Beschreibung. Theoretisch wære es auch mõglich Hypercon und andere Systeme zu emulieren......größer Pluspunkt: man braucht keinen Videograbber und und keinen HDMI Anschluß und umgeht auf diese Weise wunderbar den Kopierschutz vieler Anbieter, die damit Ambilight unmöglich machen. Gegenüber den anderen Konkurrenzprodukte ist es eindeutig das bessere.

Buen producto, con las instrucciones de instalación y uso en castellano. Una vez instalado, la configuración es un poco complicada de afinar pero con paciencia y tiempo se configura perfectamente. La app de Android para el control se crashea a veces pero también cumple su cometido. Es una gozada poder disfrutar de este ambilight con cualquier tipo de fuente.

Tempo e soldi sprecati, da Evitare Assolutamente. Led sfarfalla continuamente impostazioni inutili e incomprensibili, i colori non corrispondono a quelli dello schermo dopo poco più di una settimana si spegne dopo 20 minuti di utilizzo. Tempi di consegna lunghissimi.

Schwierige Installation, schlechte Klebeleistung der LED- Stribs. Untaugliche APP. Nach Defekt keine erfolgreiche Servicebetreuung.

Bien que la première mise en service à distance à fonctionné. Ça a pris plus d'une heure. Et aychaque fois que je change de fournisseur d'accès Internet il est impossible de le faire fonctionner après le paramétrage. Je ne l'utilise plus, quel gâchis.

Teurer Müll, mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen. Außer nicht kaufen!!!! Ein Stern, sonst keine Rezension.
