Great mug, witty and attractive!
This mug is fantastic. There is this medic that I work with named Chris, and he had a bad call the other day, so we were talking about it, he was a little upset, and i noticed that he was drinking coffee out of this generic mug from some eye doctor place. I thought ya know what, that is a lame coffee mug, let me fix that, so I came here to amazon. When I found this mug, I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for; it is exactly him, he is a little bit of a Type A personality, and most medics are, but trust me, you WANT them to be..and along with with that, he is a bit jaded and a bit of a turn wit. Really good guy - just don't tick him off- exactly like Shakespeare - which is exactly why this mug is perfect for him.So I gave him this mug and he absolutely adored it! It has phrases like :Thou art a boil, a plague sorefoot-lickerfalse of heart, light of ear, bloody of handit's just intelligent, funny, and attractive. As far as being a coffee mug goes, it's 16 oz, so it seems to be standard size, and it looks exactly like it does in the pictures : standard mug with a handle. It is a really good mug like I said he loved it, I love it, he has been using it at work and everyone has been laughing about it and using the phrases, so it has been a conversation piece. Just great.I purchased this product at full price, and this review is honest and accurate.

Two years later still my teen's favorite mug
Got this for my teen two years ago as a bday present (in 7th grade). They like it. Then started to love it as they would use these insults on rude and obnoxious classmates to my teen's delight and also the delight of many of her teachers. The teachers typically don't allow insults and the such, but when it's from Shakespeare they are smiling and encouraging. Now my teen happens to be really into Shakespeare and loves the mug even more. We kind of got it for them to hopefully spark an interest in Shakespeare (what teen doesn't like a good insult?) and hopefully help to throw some shade on those obnoxious classmates. The mug is also very sturdy, large, and keeps the content pretty warm. It also looks very nice with the different fonts. If there was a second one with more insults or with famous lines from the plays or famous lines just from Hamlet or MacBeth or Romeo & Juliet, etc. we'd probably own a full set by now. Highly recommend this!

Fun Gift
The kind of little gift that’s good when you need something clever and fun.

and very sturdy and well made
This mug is beyond amusing, and very sturdy and well made, with a lovely matte finish that's classier looking than the usual high-gloss offering. The squat shape and the substantial heft of it make it tip-resistant, a real plus for those who write or grade papers with a cuppa close at hand; the only caveat is it's probably too heavy for a small child or elderly person with weak or painful wrists, especially with hot liquid in it. But again, the short, wide contours with the wide mouth make it so much more than a coffee mug -- beta-tested it with both oat porridge and haggis in it (separately) while reading Macbeth, and it performed beautifully. Looking forward to years of verbal abuse over breakfast from this formidable cup, without the expense and inconvenience of marrying.

Great gift for Shakespeare Aficionados!
This was an exceptional gift. The cup is sturdy, great for hot or cold. And the receiver absolutely fell in love with it.

Nice Mug for the office but...
I bought this mug because I loved all the insult quotes from Shakespeare. It looks great on the Office Desk too. The only issue I have with it is the matte porcelain finish which scratches very easily especially if you are using silverware for your coffee. And obviously that will happen because it is a Matte Finish instead of a glazed finish. I think this company should offer a semi-glaze finish to bring some balance in the appearance and functionality. I can't believe I am the only who has noticed this. Sigh...

Aye! There's the Rub!
Nothing quite like a good 17th century barb to brighten up the morning breakfast table! I bought this as a gift for my cousins graduating daughter. She's majoring in Design with a Literature Minor. She really enjoyed the gift. Sometimes I amaze myself and guess at the correct gift type! The cup is larger than most coffee cups. 10 ounces(?). It has a nice heft to it; feels solid. And the print seems thick and well adhered (though time will tell).Want to impress some one with a morning jeer? (in Olde English?). Get this mug and you'll be "slinging arrows" and "stabbing at hearts from hell" in no time!

Who ever loved that loved not at first sight?
I am in love with this brilliant mug.My father liked/envied it so much I got him his very own for Father's Day.It is pretty large (16oz) which makes it perfect for holding pens and brick-a-brack on my desk and in constant viewing, as if the Bard himself where there suggesting a good quip when needs be!Such as; "I do desire we may be better strangers" and "anointed sovereign of sighs and groans."The mug's glaze is a satin finish which which helps cut down on the super glare of a high gloss finish most mugs are glazed in.The mug handle is small (about one and a half inch opening) but sturdy.Overall the quality of this mug superfine! It's definitely not your average ceramic mug, and it's a nice bonus to know it's dishwasher and microwave safe. :DThis is the perfect gift for anyone who loves coffee, Shakespeare or just enjoys witticisms in the workplace or at home.
