Statement piece for sure. I bought this for a fundraiser event and it fit perfect with the theme. I only give the hat 4 stars because I had to jimmy rig the thing to stay on my head by safety pinning it to a headband. The alligator clip on the inside is at such an odd angle it wasn't secure on my head. The actual quality of the pillbox hat is low, kind of a felt covered plastic which I wasn't expecting. The hat fit wasn't great but the overall look was awesome.

The color is true and vibrant. I have short hair and the clamp was very strong. Well worth the money.

This Pillbox Hat is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It looks EXACTLY like the images included in the description. The pictures that I uploaded speak for themselves.This is my first Pillbox Hat so I thought the headband was attached to the hat but it is not - there are no additional directions. I used the clip under the hat to attach to my hair so I was not sure what to do with the head band.I decided to attach the headband to the clip and sat the headband on my head and that worked too - it was not tight and it did not move but, after about 5 minutes the ‘tips’ got a little annoying. If you are not familiar with how to wear a Pillbox hat, you may want to research. Definitely recommend this hat!

I ordered the white to wear for my vow renewal. I read the other reviews that stated it is basically thin plastic with a felt like material covering it. That was accurate. What no one mentioned is that the white is not white. It is a pale greyish tone. Could possibly pass for an ivory tone, but nothing white about it. The veil is way too short and is squared, so you can't make it lay properly, it just sticks straight out, So disappointing.

It was gorgeous! Came packaged nicely. The packaging works perfectly for storing it until I wear it again. I had to use a heavy item to flatten out the veil piece, just from being folded during shipping but it worked perfectly. I got a lot of compliments on it. The headband worked perfectly and I could position it however I needed. You just put the headband through the elastic on the underneath side.

It's more like a lid that looks like a hat. If you are getting it for a costume, it's fine, but if you rock old school style, just get a real hat. The little black dots on the netting are just bent pipe cleaners which easily come off; I didn't like them so I took them off. It comes with a headband that fits through a loop on the underside of the hat part, but you could sub it out with a barrette easily enough.

The photo online looked ok but you clearly get what you pay for. The price was great so I ordered this item as well as another pillbox hat. This item arrived very quickly. In person, it was clearly a felt covered plastic disc and looked very cheap. Two days later the other hat I ordered arrived and it was much nicer. Even though the second one is advertised as a hat and fascinator, it was an actual hat vs this item which is a skimpy fascinator. The second one is much higher quality for a good price. I ordered this fascinator hat in black, and I liked it so much that I ordered another in red. While these little hats obviously aren't high quality in terms of materials, for the price they will be great additions to the 1950s-style dresses I like to wear to parties. As others have noted, the hat is very small, but it looks cute once it is secured at an angle toward the front of the head. I might have liked a bit more in the way of veiling, but once I fluffed it out a bit, it was fine. I was pleased that both hats arrived with a long, sturdy, silver alligator clip and a narrow, rigid black-satin headband. Either the clip or the headband can be slipped through a short, flat elastic loop on the top underside of the hat to secure it. I assume the clip is for use with an updo hairstyle. I probably won't use it, as I don't ever wear my hair that way, but I will use the headband. As my hair is dark, the headband is almost invisible once the hat is in place.

Beautiful hat! I've wanted to have a nice black hat that's small on hand--just in case. The fascinator size is perfect for afternoon or dinner out or church. I may get it in another color, as it is very versitile.

While the order came on the date promised, the hat is different. The netting is black instead of purple and the feathers are not the same. Also the color of the hat is a darker purple. I am disappointed.

Pretty cheaply made but you get what you pay for. Looks Good if your outfit and Make up are well put together.

The mesh is all crushed and I have to straighten it for two days. The little hat part is way too small. I know it’s supposed to be small but come on. I do not have a baby’s head.

I purchased this for my Christmas party and it was a hit! Not only that, it was comfortable - they provide you with a headband that the hat attaches to.
