A basic heated rack that takes up little space
This is a relatively small and simple drying rack, exactly as shown. It appears to cope well with drying smallish garments and hand towels but would struggle to dry a large bath sheet simply because the area is too small. A main concern for me was to get something small and unobtrusive and as such it is very good but the trad-off is that it will not deal with a full load of washing (I don't know if any really will). As others noted, the assembly (just slotting the feet on and screwing in) is a bit of a challenge and I can understand why some people broke the feet. I needed to file off a tiny amount of plastic from the feet (socket) and main unit and then the feet went onto the stand quite easily (an alternative might be to heat the socket). I would recommend screwing the feet on using a manual not electric screwdriver: I suspect applying too much torque would be liable to crack the fairly thin plastic feet. Having assembled it and turned it on (the only control is on/off), as another noted, there is a strange smell for maybe 10 minutes, presumably the plastic, but after that it seems fine. Bearing in mind the need for something small and neat, i would recommend this. However if you need to dry a whole load of washing in one go, you will need something bigger.

Useful for drying small items
I bought this to dry delicate clothes/underwear that can’t be put in the tumble dryer. Pros Heats up very quickly It’s lightweight Doesn’t take up much room Can fit several rows of socks /underwear on rails Or one top/trousers Cons Not wide enough for towels Can only dry small items or one large item at a time Takes a long time to dry things thoroughly Had to buy a time switch to regulate how long the heater is on for ( worth doing ) Still useful and I don’t regret buying it although it’s used are limited

Problem still not sorted
Works brilliantly as heated clothes airer BUT the smell the metal/plastic gives off is awful - fills the air in the room- and this is the second one I have sent back. MANUFACTURERS: what are you doing wrong for this to happen? The original ones ok. The smell so bad I ended up on the toilet being sick.

Smaller than photos imply. Not very sturdy - not worth the high price.
Despite some reviews stating the opposite, it is actually easy to assemble. A little strength is required to put the feet on. Very small. Good for one pair of trousers or 2 towels. Doesn't get that hot. Items will not dry much faster than on a standard hanger. Overpriced for what it is. Disappointing.

Very handy drying facility for towels or anything else.
I bought this for the summer as my bath towels weren't drying in the bathroom as the heating wasn't on due to it being summer. We now have dry and warm towels. It's very low cost running it. I will be using it in the winter as well to put my jumpers on rather than in the tumble dryer.
