Makes great coffee! No replacement parts available
This makes great coffee. Keep coffee hot as says. Here’s the bad news the if screen filter ever needs to be replaced. Stanly doesn’t offer any replacement parts for this product. I’ve ordered aftermarket replacement filter screens that say the fit Stanly French press but they are too small. So I would not recommend the product.

Does what it’s supposed to do, and easy to clean, we use it for tea as well! We bought two more for family gifts.

Heavy duty
Heavy duty, keep coffee hot for awhile, but the screen filter doesn't fit tight so you get a lot of grounds In your cup.

I've purchased a few french presses...
I've purchased a few french presses over the last year or so but I've never made a good cup of coffee until this one. VERY sturdy, I have no doubt it will last. I'm in a van, so cleaning isn't as easy as I'd like, but that's true of most things, honestly. I love that it will keep coffee hot for several hours, tho I admit I've tested that personally (I generally drink it all within the hour or so). They recommend using 40oz of water, but that's probably all you'd fit once you get the coffee in (I think I used 16tbl of grounds?) Definitely a good purchase. BTW, if you ARE planning to let your coffee sit, the caveat is that it'll keep brewing, so the few times I have taken it with me while I drive, I'll pour it into a different Stanley thermos.

Finally, an amazing French Press
After years of using two smaller presses, I finally splurged and bought the Stanley. I had hesitated previously because of the price. The Stanley press certainly is more expensive than many other options, but guess what? It's worth it. Here's why: my other presses always had some component part that would break. For example, the knob on top would be made of cheap plastic and crack, so I would be left with a vacuum carafe that I had to be super cautious while using. I got really tired of having to be careful. This Stanley is a beast. It's well built. And the 48 oz? Perfect for me. I was so tired of having to make two rounds of coffee in my smaller press. This thing I fill up once, bring it to the table, and when I'm ready for more after an hour or two, there it is all nice and hot. If you are hesitating because of the price (like I was), just pull the trigger and buy it. How much are nice Saturday and Sunday mornings worth after a tough week? I regret not having bought this much earlier.
