Cut my shelf slots just the way I wanted/expected
I used this bit to cut grooves every 2" across 4' long 1"x12" pine shelves and adjoining 1"x4" pine front/back pieces so I could place dividers between the items stored on the shelves. This bit did an excellent job. The grooves ended up just the way I wanted and are nice and smooth.

Nice Clean Cut
I use the smaller 1/4 inch shank straight bits on a mounted router to cut rabbets in moulding to make picture frames. This bit came with very nice double fluted edge that held up through my project. Of course every bit will succumb to use (reason for 4 stars for durability) but this one was very sarisfactory. I was happy with the slots and the clean cut that was produced. Would buy again

I’ll never go back to my hand drill and forstner bit
I’ve been using a hand drill and a forstner bit to drill fairly precision depth 5/8” diameter holes. I read that I could do that faster with my plunge router but the router high RPMs require a router specific bit. I just drilled my first hole using the 5/8” router bit - it was fast, easy and, of course, it had a perfect depth. I’ll never go back to my hand drill and forstner bit for this type of job. If I can get 18 to 20 holes out of this bit before it gets too dull, it will be a great deal and a great time saver.

This bit is sharp! Glides through hardwood
Dang, this bit is sharp as heck! I'm making a bath caddy out of solid walnut and used this bit to cut a groove for an iPad to sit in. This bit cut through the hardwood like it was made of butter! I'll likely purchase more bits from the same brand given the great quality of this one.

Bought two (one back-up) for a project - broke both
Product seemed to cut through material (oak) perfectly fine, and certainly can't argue on the price... but broke two bits in one evening of routing 1/4" dados. Had another 1/4" straight bit from a bit set that seemed to hold up to the depth & speed I was cutting... but I still may have been chunking out too much material per pass.Bargain bit - don't overwork or it will snap
