The initial smell is really strong. It smells just like hot chocolate but I find it to be honestly overwhelming and it makes me a little nauseous. After I’ve actually put it on my skin however, it has a much more faint, sweet chocolately smell that doesn’t really linger. As for how it actually is as an oil- I love it. I bought it because I get super dry skin but it’s soo much work to put lotion on my whole body and I wanted something lower effort. Although I find that it absorbs super fast which can make it kinda hard to spread, if you use a good amount and your skin isn’t absolutely dying of dryness then it’s easy to apply. I love layering it beneath a lotion, which locks in moisture and makes the lotion much easier to apply. I was planning on getting the Palmers cocoa butter lotion but I found a very similar product for much better value from Nivea which i recommend (can’t attest to how it actually compares because I haven’t tried palmers yet). I’ve noticed the oil makes my skin super soft and hydrated, and even helps a little with redness and evening out my skin tone. The bottle will last a while even if I use it on my whole body after every shower. I’ve noticed over time since using it I need to use less because my skin is less dry. Overall I definitely recommend it, especially if you’ve got dry skin but you’re super lazy.

Love the smell! I pair this with my palmers lotion and its amazing. I put it on fresh out the shower while still wet and it leaves me so soft and moisturized. It is a bit greasy but i dont mind at all.

Es hat einen wunderbar warmen, schokoladig-süßen Kakaoduft, der lange auf der Haut bleibt, aber nicht zu aufdringlich ist – vorausgesetzt, man mag den typischen Cocoa-Butter-Geruch. Die Anwendung ist einfach: Das Öl lässt sich gut verteilen, zieht relativ schnell ein und hinterlässt ein gepflegtes Hautgefühl ohne stark zu fetten. Besonders nach dem Duschen auf feuchter Haut angewendet, macht es die Haut schön weich und geschmeidig. Ideal bei trockener oder spannender Haut, z. B. im Winter oder nach dem Sonnenbad. Ein Pluspunkt: Das Öl ist sehr ergiebig – ein paar Tropfen reichen oft schon aus. Die Inhaltsstoffe sind größtenteils angenehm übersichtlich, allerdings enthält es auch Mineralöl (Paraffinum Liquidum), was für manche ein Kritikpunkt sein könnte. Fazit: Ein reichhaltiges, angenehm duftendes Pflegeöl mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für Fans von Cocoa Butter auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung – wer jedoch nur Naturkosmetik verwenden möchte, sollte einen Blick auf die Inhaltsstoffe werfen.

Es riquísimo, tiene un aroma muy natural y muy rico, muy muy rico. Además es súper rico al tacto, mantiene la hidratación y en lo general todo es muy rico. Super recomendado como aceite sellador de hidratación.
