16" Boomerang - Assorted Colors (Package of 12)

These are cheap, plastic boomerangs and that is why we bought them. They are brightly colored and are kind of thin. Would I use them for hunting kangaroos? Probably not. Would I rely on them to bring down a koala 25 feet up a tree? Doubtful. Do they make perfect arcs through the air and return to my hand with my eyes closed? No, but that's not why I bought them. If you know how to throw a boomerang properly, these do exhibit the traditional curvature in their flight path. They are shaped the way they are for a reason, so ignore any of the other reviews that complain about the "warps" in the plastic. I let the kids play with these in the cul de sac and they are entertaining enough. I can get them to travel in a circle with maybe a 30 foot radius and have them return to within 10 feet of me. They lack the weight needed to keep the momentum necessary to bring them back all the way. But you're not shopping for authentic wooden boomerangs, you're here looking for children's toys or party decorations just like we were. Go ahead and add them to your cart, the kids will like them, the don't cost a lot and you have extras so you don't have to get out the ladder every day to get them off the garage roof.

Fast shipping. With that been said, on to the product. Never seen a boomerang that has this type of shape. It seem worpped, they don't come back to you. Not even close to where you are. I wonder if I got a bad batch that was melted slightly?

Cheap price. I didn't expect much for the price. I just wanted an inexpensive boomerang to play with at the park with my son and dog. If you want to be serious about boomerang throwing then this is not for you. This is a good toy for kids to loose, party gifts, or for your dog.Yes, mine did come "warped," bent, or whatever the other review say. They do not lie flat, and they are not all "bent" the same, you can tell the difference in them, especially between the first and last in the package. They work just fine if you can learn to throw correctly.

I have thrown boomerangs like this for about 13 years. I usually got them from a local dollar store and they worked just fine. The dollar store was out of stock so I thought," Amazon has a pretty good deal, I'll get a few for some friends and their kids for an upcoming BBQ". They arrived in a timely fashion but were warped so badly that they were useless as actual throwers. I'm not too mad because they were so inexpensive. I'm just disappointed because: now NOBODY gets a boomerang. Oh, I could buy some more expensive boomerangs for my friends & their kids but I'm much too cheap for that. Maybe I'll hand them out anyway. It's a win/win really. The kids are running around in a field basically playing fetch with themselves while getting some exercise. At the same time, it keeps 'em outta my hair for a while. " Ooooh.....you ALMOST had it that time. That's it kids keep trying! Practice makes perfect! If you need me, I'll just be sitting over here by the keg."

These boomerangs are way better than people are posting. They actually do come back, but definitely not every time and not as well as a real boomerang. If you are looking for a dog toy, these are the perfect type of plastic and a great shape so that your dog can pick it up (unlike most frisbees)
