Simplicity White Wedding Fan Kit, 24pc, 5'' W x 7'' H

I believe one was dirty so I didn’t use that one. However printing them I couldn’t find a template for it so I just used word & printed in landscape & kept using trial papers to line it up within the boarders wasn’t too hard. Just adjusted up/down & left/right on word. I put 5 in the printer at a time and it worked out great! I printed 4x6 pictures & glued them on the back. Everyone loved them & was definitely necessary for a Florida wedding in June!

Used this kit to print fans for our annual meeting in the hot summer in the NE. I printed the three-day event schedule on the two sides of the fan, and it served a very useful dual purpose - kept everyone informed as to where and when they needed to be, AND helped keep everyone cool. It would be VERY helpful if the company could include information on how to set up a Word template for printing or have a template available for download from their website. It took quite a bit of time to get the template done from scratch, but once that hurdle was overcome, the printing was fairly easy. After unfolding the cardstock for each fan, I made sure the little "prongs" at the fold were as flat as possible and put one piece in my paper tray at a time, and then printed one fan. I found that having multiple pieces of cardstock in the paper tray at once caused them to catch on each other and they jammed. So inserting one piece of paper and printing one fan at a time is the way to go - time-consuming but worth it. We also put a piece of double-sided tape at the top and at the open side of the fan in addition to the tape on the handle in order to "seal" the fan more completely.

I purchased this product instead of the Wilton which I used previously because of the price-$7.00 savings on each pack. The fans; ribbons; and sticks to me were very similar as far as quality. The problem I had was printing more than one at a time. In using 2 packs already 8 fans have been wasted because of the printer jamming or the fan not aligned properly. The major problem is the fans come folded. I had to unfold and separate them-let something heavy lay on the flattened fans and then print no more than 2 at a time. I would recommend the company send the fans not folded which is easier for printing.

I couldn’t find the template to personalize them. So I had to create one in MS Word, but it wasn’t too difficult. It just took a few times to make my personalization. The sticks for handles have glue strips that are included are too long. Because of how long they are it makes the fans stiff. I suggest buying some sticks without the glue on the whole stick.

I purchased 2 boxes of these lovely fans for my daughter's wedding. Unfortunately I waited 3 days prior to the wedding to unbox them. As I was going through each one to make sure it was flat and wouldn't get caught on the one above it I noticed some small smudges of dirt halfway through the 1st box. No biggie. I erased them dirt from front and back where seen and moved forward. As I continued I noticed the smudges appeared to be foot prints. It looked as if the cards had been dropped; walked on and stuck in box. This was very disappointing as I had already used about 7 of the cards and could no longer return them. The 2nd box was perfet no complaints at all. Ultimately I had to run to Walmart and I found some glittered cardstock and was able to create and replace the 11 fans I was unable to use from the 1st box. The guests loved them. I used hot glue to secure the ribbons and added a little gem. I would probably buy again, but would definitely check them as soon as I received them. All in in they came out beautiful

I bought 2 of these. It comes with no directions of any kind so you have to make your own template. Once you have that done and it fits within the preview page it’s pretty easy.A few of the sticks were split but not broken. (I was missing a stick and a bow) It’s better to run 3 or 4 thru the printer at a time instead of the whole stack so you won’t get any stuck in there. I folded mine the opposite direction to make the crease flatter. The bows were mostly bent... move them around a bit and they’ll work. I glued the folded fan on the edges to keep them together better.They’ll do what I need them to do. I’d probably try to find a brand that has templates on line if I were to do it again.

Overall it's a good product to purchase. The cardboard could be a little more sturdy, like actual cardboard, it's more like paper!! But everything else was great.

Creating my own template for these was fun. I downloaded a few free fonts to create something fun for our beach wedding ceremony. A little on the flimsy side but still functional. I like that it came with bows and tape. Very easy to put together.
