Bone Dry CAMZ36740 Microfiber Pet Mat 12" x 18", Small, Lattice Cranberry

I received this product in the mail and there was a sticker on it saying that it contains chemicals that are known to cause cancer/birth defects. This is very surprising and somewhat worrisome - why on earth would I put my dogs food and water bowls on this? Honestly, when was the last time you bought dinner placemats for your household that had that kind of label on the package? Did I miss something in the product description?! I’m glad the sticker was on the product because I’m just going to go buy a new mat at Ross or HomeGoods that doesn’t contain chemicals known to cause cancer. Bummer because it’s super cute :(

This mat was so cute and I was so ready for it to come to replace my old ugly mat I had under my dog's bowls. I bought the matching bowls to go with this mat to make it a cute set. As soon as I opened the box there is a big ol' sticker on the plastic covering the mat that states this mat falls under Proposition 65 because it has chemicals in it that cause cancer and birth defects. I certainly don't want my daughter, husband or myself around this mat, but I don't think my dog should be subjected to these kind of chemicals either. Very disappointed.

This mat has saved my sanity! We have tile floors in our new house, and my dogs are the messiest drinkers. I never noticed before because their water bowl was always on carpet. Now that it is on the tile floors, there seems to always be a huge lake of dog water on the floor. I was looking for quite a while for something that was not a huge eyesore and would work well. I didn't want to waste money on a mat that looked good if it didn't' work well. I finally decided to buy this mat and give it a whirl. I am so extremely happy that I did! No more huge puddles on my tile floors! The mat looks super cute and is not too big or small for my dogs water container. I think that this mat is the perfect size! It also soaks up the water really nicely. I was worried that it might get mildew, but so far so good! It might be because of our super dry climate here in the desert, but it sucks up the water and dries out very nicely. I wish I had gotten this mat sooner!

Only commenting on the absorbency and the product description re: sizeThe product is advertised as 14 x 24 for the small size; the small is more like 10 x 18 and the large size is barely 13 x 23 (picture of how it was advertised attached).The mat is not super absorbent - it is barely absorbent at all. A stack of paper towels with the same thickness as the mat will protect floors better.

I am very happy with these pet mats and have already purchased in another style/color. They have a very good non-skid bottom and can be washed. Please note that after washing they will not be as stiff and you will have to pull to stretch back into shape due to the non-skid backing. It is still amazing and works perfect - just gets softer with use. I love these mats and switch out colors when I need to wash the one in use. I will buy again!

What I don't like about this product is that it doesn't lay flat. The edges curl up and as such, give it an unkempt appearance. I thought about notifying the Seller but it just wasn't worth the trouble to me. Maybe that's unfair because now I'm writing a not positive review whereas I didn't give the Seller a chance to address.

We got this because late at night our cats like to drop toys in their water and then fish them out which makes a mess. We have brand new laminate floors so water everywhere is not okay anymore. I do wish it was a bit bigger and the edges will just not stop curling but it is super absorbent and that's what's most important to us! I have woken up to the mat being soaking wet but the floor still dry underneath.

Not the best purchase I've ever made... Straight out of the package, I was a little disappointed at the permanent crease mark down the center from where it was folded to ship. Since setting it down, the corners have curled up.I got it because my cat has a habit of sloshing his water bowl, so I wanted something to protect the carpet....Well, these curly corners are too much of a temptation for him, so he plays with it and ends up dumping his whole water bowl as soon as I fill it up! Gonna be a no go. I guess something out of a heavy plastic that clings better to the floor would be better unless you have an animal who is low on mischief. :)

Disgusted to receive this with a sticker on the front which reads..."can expose you to chemicals which are known to cause cancer and birth defects". I have never written a bad review as I tend to think that life is too short, but it beggars belief that I would want this in my home, let alone in close contact with a beloved animal.I want a full refund please. Please advise.

When I received this product I found it folded in half for shipping, now it has a crease down the middle that creates a visible line down the middle plus this crease does not allow for it to lay flat but has a buckle in the centre. I would suggest rolling the product into a tube shape preventing creasing. Don't get me wrong the product is good except the crease is my problem - it's not used as intended now.

My dog loves to play with her toys in the water bowl. I bought this to put under the bowl to help w the water spreading / damaging my wood floor. The mat is perfect! I've picked it up before and it's been dripping water from being so full, but the ground below is still perfectly dry.This size is just too small for me. With the splash over I needed the larger one. But this is a perfect spare!

The mat is a good size for dog bowls, but the material is very thin. Also, because of the way it was folded & packaged, there are permanent (and unsightly) crease marks that won't go away—even after washing. The mat also doesn't lay flat on the floor; it curls up at the edges.Overall, I'm not satisfied with my purchase, and would not recommend this product to others.

It’s very small, had kinks and wouldn’t lay flat on the floor. The fabric was very cheap and the thickness was very thin. After returning it i saw that they sell the exact one at Walmart in the towel section but it’s sold for half of the price and you get 2 different sizes as a set.Will never order this again.
