Product is wonderful, delivery time, not so much.
The product is great. Due to a urinary blockage, it's all my male cat can eat. I had to adjust the automatic delivery to every 2 wks, and realized that I would run out, so ordered a one time only delivery that would arrive in 2 days from ordering. That was on Dec 26, so expected it on the 28th. It's now Jan 1, 2026 and still not here. Should have arrived before the inclement weather. Rethinking auto delivery.

So far so good!
We have a 6 year old male American Shorthair cat, named Boogie, who is MAJOE part of our family. In our household it's only my hubby and I and our cats. I am only 28 years old, however I'm disabled due to a very rare connective tissue disease. So Boogie (and our new little kitten) is my own source of company while my husband is at work. Since I am pretty much bed bound and never leave my home, you can imagine how much this kitty means to me....so when a couple months ago we almost lost him due to a severe infection caused by a urinary blockage, we were terrified and wanted to do everything we could to ensure this doesn't happen again. At first the vet said he'd have to be on prescription cat food for the rest of his life that will help with the pH balance of his urine. (They had him on Hill's Prescription Diet C/D) However with my medical bills we just could not afford the ridiculous prices, not to mention the fact that they want you to buy the food from the vet which requires driving 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back every time we ran out....simply put it just wasn't reasonable and we felt there had to be something just as good out there. So we've kept our cats (Boogie and the kitten) both on the C/D dry food, but rather than giving them the C/D wet food as well, we've gone with Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health Formula instead. Boogie prefers wet food over dry but he HATED the expensive C/D wet food, now however since we switched he LOVES the Chicken Entree flavor and eats his fill in the morning and will snack on the dry food in the evening or at night. So far so good, we've been doing this for about a month and a half and there's no signs of bladder issues. Thanks Purina for giving our fur baby a safe and reasonably price alternative that he actually enjoys eating, yet will keep him healthy. This cat's gotten me through many a hard night when I was in pain and many lonely days being stuck in a bed alone. He truly deserves the best, and I feel Purina is it.

My cat enjoys this food!
My 14 year old cat was recently diagnosed with urinary issues and her vet recommended a urinary formula cat food, canned only. We tried several brands and this is the one she likes! I was happy to find this food on amazon, delivery is quick and convenient. As to the food itself, it only has a slight smell and my cat gobbles it up quickly! Several "prescription" foods had a terrible smell so it's very nice to find one that doesn't. Pricing is consistent with pet stores in my area, too.

The Queen has spoken
I have the world's choosiest cat. This is further complicated by her on and off issues with her urinary tract. So back in 2015 we tried this food out and she loved it. She didn't like the original which was chicken slices in gravy – too much work for Her Majesty to chew. However, the Chicken Entrée is close enough to being a pate that she no longer had a problem with the big chunks. After feeding this to her for a couple of weeks, I then confidently (foolhardedly?) ordered 2 cases and... she put her little nose up in the air and said "No more!". Sigh... I then moved forward on a quest to find a new food that Her Majesty would eat. All the while, I kept the Pro Plan in my pantry thinking that I would give it away at some point to a shelter. Well, fast forward 18 months, and Her Majesty turned her nose up at another food that I thought she liked. (Side note... her aversions do not happen gradually... it's a sudden "I don't like this anymore" that kind of takes your breath away due to how quickly she changes her mind.) What to do? With bated breath, I hesitantly pulled open the door of my pantry to start my search for the stockpiled ProPlan Focus Urinary Tract Chicken Entrée cans. I know what you're thinking. Why bother? And yes, that had been my first thought. But my second thought was... Why not? All she could do was say "No!" (Or more likely "Meow, no!"). So I put half a can of the food in a bowl, turned on some mood lighting and soft music, and in a groveling manner (making sure to avert my eyes from her visage) placed the bowl near Her Majesty's throne. And, SHE LIKED IT! She cleaned her bowl quickly, but in a very ladylike and regal manner, of course. Now - many days later, she continues to feast on this nectar of the gods. The kingdom was gleeful for a time. And then - today for fun I tried to slip some of her old favored food to her (not Pro Plan) and I could see that she was about to go full Alice-In-Wonderland Queen of Hearts on me ("Off with your head!"). I quickly removed the offending food from her presence and replaced with her favored Purina Pro Plan Focus Urinary Tract Chicken Entrée (with full orchestral accompaniment, of course). She is now lounging on her throne, waving her scepter around in an imperious manner, and knighting everyone that passes by. But all is well in the kingdom (for now) and peace has been restored. If you too are seeking peace and harmony from your own little despot, may I suggest trying the Purina Pro Plan Focus Urinary Tract food? You will be happy you did.

I recently switched my cats to Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health, Chicken formula, and I’m so glad I did. Both boys love the taste and I feel confident knowing it’s supporting their bladder health after losing my other cat to urinary issues. The formula doesn’t come in a big variety of flavors (we stick to chicken because fish isn’t the best for urinary health), but honestly, they don’t mind — they clean their bowls every time. Their coats are shiny, their energy is good, and I’ve noticed they seem more satisfied and content after meals. Yes, it’s more expensive than standard foods, but if you’ve ever faced an emergency vet bill, you know the cost of prevention is far less than the heartbreak and expense of treatment. For me, the peace of mind makes it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this food to anyone with cats prone to urinary issues.

So happy that I can order a case of this urinary food here, as my local pet store no longer carries it.

We buy urinary tract friendly dry and wet food after our two cats had urinary tract infections. The new diet seems to be working because they haven’t had an infection since starting on this diet. Our cats have this wet food in the morning and look forward to breakfast every day! Highly recommend!

Our cats love this. Small bites, gravy. For added gravy, we mix some warm water with the little bit of left over in the can. The cats LOVE it.
