The 1" to 3/4" is great for loose, natural looking curls. I always get complements on my hair and it's so easy to do. I have straight hair with slight waves. When I curl my hair with the wand, my curls last for a few days. I have two children and don't have much time. I can do a few touch ups and walk out the door looking great. When I do my hair with a clamp curling iron, it will barely last me til the end of the day. This Hot Tools curling wand is perfect for all types of hair. I've done my friends hair a few times before (her hair does not hold curls with my clamp curling iron), however, with this curling rod, hers held until the next day with no hair spray. Curling wands are a bit different than clamp curling irons and take a bit more practice to get a hang of it. I have owned Hot Tools products for a few years now and they have not failed me. I own a straightener and a curling rod. These products get abused by my family from dropping off the counter to getting slammed in the door. They turn on every time, get hot and stay hot. I love the adjustable heat settings and quality. Hot Tools is worth every penny and last long.

Super fast shipping! Came brand new in box with the heat resistant glove. I have flat straight lifeless hair and Hot Tools is the only iron that can curl my hair and keep the curl for more than literally a minute like other curling irons. When I use this curling wand my curl/wave stays in all day!! I love the long cord and the soft handle. Heats to temp in less than a minute. Awesome product. Worth the money.

I've assumed all curling irons were the same... they're not! The heat is perfect to keep the curl all night long! Recommend highly!

This is a great product overall. It is sturdy and always heats up and works great. I just don't personally like the wand curls on my own hair. It can be difficult to use because you can easily burn your hands. This does include a glove to prevent that from happening but I find it difficult to hold my hair with the glove on. However, if you want a wand this is a great one.

I've tried so many curling tools, all that required me to use way too much hair spray and then my hair looked more messy than curled, and curls fell within an hour. This actually heats up way better than conair iron, but is not much more expensive and my curls hold for days. Perfect for mom hair, I can curl my long hair all the way through in about 20 minutes and it lasts without any hair spray. Dry shampoo and touch up for a few more days and it looks awesome. I get so many compliments, but I have to give credit to hot tools! I recommend it to everyone who asks.

Worked perfect until it shorted out and wouldn't warn up ever again. The light turns on but it will not warm up at all

This is the best hair curler I have had in YEARS! I am not a hair pro but this has helped me so much gain confidence in styling my hair. I am recovering from an ED so I do not have a lot of hair but the curls I have managed to do with this wand are AMAZING! I have shoulder length hair that can be a little stubborn and this is hands down the best curling wand I have ever owned. It heats up quickly, has good grip, but also makes my hair super silky. I was using a lower-end brand before and the difference is night and day. For my length of hair it wraps 2.5 times and makes a fantastic wave instead of a tight curl—exactly what I wanted.

This is my third Hot Tools curling iron - will never buy another brand again. These are so affordable and excellent quality. They've lasted me years and I've never had any issues. Would highly recommend.

Extremely easy to use, there is a good range of temperature (I personally never go over 350, but it goes up to 430). Lights up when on and the on/off button isn't something you'll accidentally hit as I've had that issues with others, you have to turn the dial to get it to turn on/off. Cord is very long, I'm able to move around a good distance without having to stand right by my plug. Only downside is the glove that it comes with, it doesn't feel nice nor smooth on my hand. Horrible quality, I'd rather just use a regular winter glove. Inexpensive and you get more than its value, love this guy!
