I was delighted to receive this well made torch which has a reassuring weight to it within a very rapid timescale, and the torch worked straight out of the box with a sturdy case provided and a large capacity rechargeable battery included. I have yet to test the torch for battery life but the power seems to be holding well so far. There is a good focus range for the beam and the torch is sizeable enough to be hand held with ease, but small enough to fit into a typical coat pocket.I will use this torch for walking late when the streetlamps are off on their energy saving schedule, and for cycling, using the included handlebar mount which seems to be well made. The one recommendation I have for the seller to improve this product is to increase the potential diameter of the handlebar fixing - my mountain bike is , as many these days, fitted with a wide handlebar which is a larger diameter in the centre than at the grips, and the fitting will not fit in the central handlebar area (which is where most cyclists would probably choose to mount it, resulting in less movement of the torch when the handlebar is turned)This is a relatively minor criticism of an otherwise excellent product which I would recommend.

Great torch but 1 small flaw- I bought the torch so I could fit it to the handlebars on my bike after all it says that is one of its functions. However take a close look at the bracket provided and you will see that it has a major flaw, the torch holder and the handle bar bracket are in line with each shine the light forward, the brackets would need to be at 90 degrees to each other. The picture shows the problem clearly. As long as you don’t need to attach the torch to your bike then it’s a good product.

Not used it much to give a longer review, but it seems decent quality, bright beam which on narrow beam goes quite a way, wide beam good for a larger area close up, the case is rubbish and on first opening it the lugs at the back snapped making it pretty useless really, so torch seems decent enough can’t comment on battery life, But if buying because it looks good with case then forget it as case is very poor quality.

I am writing this after owning for about 6 months. Decent battery life, I charge once every other week after using for about 2 hours a week. Experimented with the bike holder, was fine on the road but not so good on cycle tracks/dirt tracks.Belt pouch has now slowly started to tear at the base (but I'm prepared to blame my use rather than the pouch itself)

The light itself seems to be good quality, and the extras you get in the box are very useful. However, the belt pouch delivered with it seems to be inconsistent. The photos show a carrying pouch with a snap, usable to hang on bags with a MOLLE system. Kathleen Pearce's review shows a different one, with a fixed belt loop. My version has a fixed loop too, and is narrower and open at the sides. It barely fits the flashlight and certainly wouldn't protect it from moisture. It looks made for an entirely different model.Disappointed in this as I was hoping to attach it to my backpack for trekking, not to a belt.

I had this for a year good price but unfortunately unreliable I used it in the snow one winter a year later I used it again to walk to work in the snow and when I got home I left it on to use up the battery life to charge again for the next day 5 minutes into leaving it on it died completely I’d recommend olight torch you can’t beat them. I got one on eBay for £50 ish pounds when it should have been £65.

Very nice compact torch, projects a very good beam of light from a small spot light to a wide circular light that can light up a significant area.Comes with a case that you can attach to a belt and also rechargeable battery and battery charger unit.

1200 lumens makes quite a difference from the usual 800. The rechargeable battery lasts many long night walks with the dog and when the battery eventually starts to give out less power it can be recharged overnight. I take the included 3 AAA batteries in their holder but have never had to use them... the rechargeable is excellent.Changing the beam from wide to long distance spot is superb and smooth to operate. Yes the tortch is slighly longer than a 800 lumen model. The weight and length are not a problem. I have a 800 lumen... on a shelf... I only use the 1200 lumen model. No reservations... its worth buying.
