I love the look of it and it does what you ...
I love the look of it and it does what you expect with a contemporary look. It is very sold and feels substantial in your hand (it is heavy). The only reason for giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is that I am very disappointing that I paid $35 + tax for a napkin holder (which I believe to be very expensive for such a thing) which I expect it to be exceptionally well made in all regards. Unfortunately it is not. The only functional issue I have noticed is the rubber caps that go over the feet to protect your table. The rubber feet fall off VERY easily leaving metal to rub on my wood table (this issue has been mentioned by others). I have already lost one so I am not sure what I am going to do.In order to be fully functional, you are either going to have to glue the feet on, purchase different feet/caps yourself, or allow the metal feet to touch the surface. It is not a huge issue to glue feet - but honestly I shouldn't have to when I spend $35 (+tax) for a napkin holder!Again I love the design, the look, weight and general functionality of it, but I don't understand how the feet can be so over looked.

Tarnishes badly
I purchased one of these 2 years ago and it started tarnishing soon after. I should have returned it right away but figured it would not get any worse. It got worse in a big way and It looks like trash now. A very cheaply made product that extremely expensive.

Contenporary & Stylish
The most ascetically attractive holder of the otherwise boring paper napkin ever made.It is easy the load and easy to remove a single napkin... The trick is to place the napkins in the holder with the fold to the back. The only fault I'd sight is the little rubber caps that fit over the feet grab the counter surface so well that the holder comes right out of them. My husband applied a dab of industrial strength glue to each, however, and that solved the problem. This is a hefty little object and its weight is surprising. It no doubt could stay put and keep saf a stack of paper napkins in a 30 mph wind! Great for the patio!

Quality item!
Nice weight, sturdy and well made. The only problem is that the napkins tend to get messed up when you pull one from the top, however, it's simple to just lift up the ball and smooth it out or even lift up the ball to remove a napkin. The ball holding the napkins is nice and heavy - I doubt a napkin could blow away in a hurricane, so this is great for outside patio meals, but, we also use it inside and are very happy with it.

Worthy to be on display in museum of modern art
"WOW" simply beautiful functional piece. This napkin holder design utilize the "crane" technology used since the ancient times. It is made of nickel plated steel. The base is curved slightly inward and has a piece of fabric to prevent napkins from sliding and hold them in place. The ball is very heavy but perfectly balanced with the rest of the arms and because of it only one napkin is dispensed per use avoiding mess. It is a pricy item but when you receive it and see the quality and weight of it you will know exactly where your money went and it will be well worth it, compared to cheap imitations. So simple in its form, so well put together, easily could be displayed as piece of modern art.The only minor deficiency is the package. If you plan to give this as a gift, you will have to wrap it in something nice since the box is very plain and raw.

Love It! Worth the money!
Love this napkin holder, love the look, love the functionality! The ball holds the napkins down securely and you can pull one napkin out at a time without having the rest of the napkins come out too. Great purchase and worth the money! The only thing is that the black plastic covers on the feet fall off, but it's not a big deal.

The Best Napkin Holder
The Zojila paper and cloth napkin holder works well and looks beautiful. The weighted ball on the hinged arm automatically adjusts to the size of the stack as napkins are removed and holds paper napkins in place so they don't fly around when the holder is taken outside. The holder makes a classy addition to our kitchen counter; it's a great improvement over the napkins' plastic packaging and other napkin holders I've used. Four small rubberized feet support the metal bottom, so it doesn't scratch counter and table surfaces. I purchased 4 holders in a single order, and gave 3 away to very appreciative recipients.
