I really like the look of each piece. These dishes are microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer safe. That has been amazing because each family member can use these as they need and all of them can put these in the dishwasher when done! I can use the dishes for everyday and entertain with these. The dishes are beautiful! Very happy to get rid of my corelle and buy these.

Although pricey this set is stunning and is of excellent quality. Each piece of the set is unique because the pattern isn't just sprayed on, I really like this feature and it shows the work that has been put in. The tea plates are 8" in diameter, the dinner plates are 11" in diameter and the bowls are 6.5" in diameter. I have included a picture of the mug compared to a standard size mug and there isn't much difference, personally I find the ones in this set much nicer to hold because of the roundness. As the dinner plates are fairly large it's worth making sure that they will fit in your cupboard, mine did just about. The other great thing about this set is that you can buy single parts (on Amazon or Debenhams) so you can add to it over time and get pieces that aren't originally included. If you're looking to invest into some nice pieces then you should definitely go for this!

A lovely dinner set. Intriguing pattern on it. I have given 5 stars for the product. I would give perhaps 3 stars for the packaging though. When It arrived one cup had the handle broken off, and another had a large chip on its rim. Like others I did not want to return the whole lot, so I kept it. (I have enough mugs around this place anyway!) The items were wrapped in bubble wrap within the Denby box. The outer Amazon box had some paper packing to help protect the Denby box. But what did surprise me was that there was nothing on the Amazon box to indicate that the contents were fragile. We used to get parcels with red 'fragile' tape on it simply to indicate that the contents were fragile and so the box should be handled carefully. Perhaps Amazon should start doing that.Enough about the packaging. The items generally, and especially the large plates, do weigh more than I have had in the past. Again as others have said, perhaps a bit more care when hand-washing them to make sure they don't slip out of your hand. Personally I've got no problem with the weight and find it a bit reassuring that the thing isn't going to break completely should I knock it! :-) We use the plates every day, and have had no problems at all.Overall, a great product, lovely and intriguing to look at, just a shame about the Amazon packaging.

This arrived today. Well packages and all in one piece. Just to note the mugs are the standard large mugs. The product info on Amazon says the set contains 'small mugs' even stating the capacity size is less than the large ones. That put me off buying the set but I worked out buying it all separately with the large mugs was a lot more. So I bought the set and four large mugs too - thought I'd post a review to help anyone avoid doing yet same!

I ordered two sets of Denby Halo, both arrived quickly but unfortunately with damaged items in both boxes. Two of the plates were broken and there were chipped rims on the cereal bowls, most likely caused through the delivery process. However, with a few clicks on Amazon returns, a replacement set was ordered and delivered the next day at no cost. This new set had just one of the cereal bowls damaged in the same way as the others and a chipped rim on one mug, but, with a bit of sorting and replacing I now have a beautiful set of tableware. The product itself is great with such a nice design, well made too, but don't expect it to arrive without some damage.

On opening my Denby tableware set, stunning is the word I used. Every piece was wrapped so well by Amazon, and every piece was perfect. The colour is gorgeous! It is so nice to buy a set like this at less than half price! I am over the moon with it, knowing my table will look great from now on. The glaze on the pieces looks great, and I know it is worth every penny too. I would highly recommend that other customers go for it, you will not be disappointed.
