Great for the price point!
I have the Bose version of this and I love it. I use it to talk on the phone or listen to music while I'm doing chores around the house or outside. I love the hands-free nature of this, and also like that it's not ear buds because 1. they are uncomfortable and fall out of my ears, and 2. I like to be able to hear what else is going on around me. My Mom, bless her, is terrible at multitasking. She loved my neck speaker for the same reason I do and told me she'd love something like that for Christmas. I love my mom dearly, but there's no way I'd be spending $200.00 on ONE gift for her, so I came to Amazon to search for another option. I came across several, but essentially ended up choosing this one. While it is more expensive than some of the others I saw, I do feel like you get what you pay for. It just LOOKED like it was more sturdy and well-made. Additionally, some GREAT features it has that even my Bose doesn't have are 1. It has an AM/FM radio tuner built it, and 2. you can put in a microsd card containing music to play through it (in the event you don't have your phone/bluetooth nearby). My mom was SO excited when she opened it at Christmas! She has finally gotten around to trying it out and she is really pleased with it. She says the sound quality is great for our phone calls, and also for the music. It's comfortable for her to wear too. Overall, very satisfied with the product and the quality for the price!

Great as blue tooth speakers!
I have to rank this speaker 3 ways: ( in order of importance to me )1. As a bluetooth speaker they rate 4.52. Using the SD card as the source of the music ( or audio book ) they rate a 33. As an FM Radio, they rate a 0 ( yes zero )Let me explain:1. As a blue tooth speaker, they pair with my iphone easily and I can use the controls on my iphone to adjust the volume, skip to a new track, etc. The qualify of the sound is quite satisfying. It's also an easy thing to answer an incoming call and the conversation is conducted using the wearable speaker. My guess is that, this is the use case for most people.2. I also maintain play lists of music in sd cards. So I frequently listen to my music in this manner when I work outside, take a hike, etc. As said before, the sound qualify is very satisfying. I did mark it down for this kind of use for the following reasons:- The speakers come on too loud when I turn them on. The audio prompt when powering up is loud enough to hurt if I'm wearing the speakers. My fix? I turn them on and adjust the volume before I put them on.- I have to use the controls on the speaker to control the volume and to skip tracks, etc. The same button is used to lower the volume and the skip to the previous track. You'll see in a minute while this is a problem. A short press of the button lowers the volume a bit, a long press skips to the previous track. Now the button has a tendency to "lock down" when I press it. This turns a short press into a long press. Did I say the speakers turn on with the volume set loud enough to fill a room? How many short presses do you think it takes to bring the volume down to the level I need to be comfortable when they are on my shoulders? At least ten short presses. But once the button starts to lock down, I skip to previous songs before the volume comes down to my desired level. At that point I long press the other button several times to return to the track I want.I know this is alot of text about a drawback. So it may seem to be a deal breaker. But I've learned to tolerate it, and the length of the test is solely for the purpose of explaining the issue. One last thing, when I get a phone call while listening to an SD card, I get a alert of the call from the speakers, but I must converse using my phone.3. Finally, the FM radio. This is a complete fail for me. I let the speakers scan for stations. And it set many "stations" that I can just to. I just use the same buttons that skip to the next track. The only problem is that every "station" it set is static. Not a single real station is set. This isn't a big deal for me, but I wanted to include it for those of you who would depend upon this feature. FWIW: There are about 20 strong FM stations where I live. So it's not for lack of stations. So I'm giving these speakers a rating of 4 overall and I recommend them if you are interested in them as a blue tooth speaker, or to listed to SD cards knowing that you'll have to work some with the controls.

Surprisingly Excellent!
The Long Run wearable speaker is an excellent value for its price point. It is made well and surprisingly has excellent sound quality. Coming from a Bose (which my dog destroyed), I was surprised by how good the Long Run sounds. I wish it had deeper, richer bass, but the sound is good for the price. It does not sound tinny. The sound is clear, spatial, and can get quite loud. I was also pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this rigid little speaker is. It fits snugly yet comfortably around the neck. The addition of an FM tuner is a nice touch, just hoping that the button can be separated from the volume buttons in the future. In conclusion, for 60 bucks, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better wearable speaker than this. Give it a try!

I didn't want to spend the $ on the Bose
First, I will admit I'm particular when it comes to sound. I was hoping that the New Technologies Wearable Speaker would be good enough - so I won't have to spend the $250.00 for the Bose unit. Looks similar. I'm just going to list the Pros and Cons.Pros: 1) Price 2) Very loud. You could use it as a regular Bluetooth speaker (propped up on a desk). 3) Very good Stereo sound. (good separation).Cons: 1) Ridiculously tiny Owners Manual. You need 20/10 vision to read! 2) Too loud! Yes you can turn it down but you could destroy your hearing - they get that loud! See #2 Pro. 3)There is a huge difference between the volume of the Bluetooth and the FM Radio. They need to add a circuit that resets the volume when switching between Bluetooth and FM Radio to protect hearing, 4) Very poor FM reception. Plunging in the USB charging cable (per Owners Manual) made No difference. I live 25 miles fro Spokane WA. I could only get 3 FM station (weak). 5) Weak Bass. Better that the other "Wearable Speakers". No way as good as the Bose. 6) Horrible Controls. A row of very small black button that are right next to each other and all on the same side. The marking on the buttons is black and so small you need a magnifying glass to see them. 7) Poor build quality.A sharp point was left from the injection molding of the plastic that scratched my neck. 8) Needs a cover for the TF/SD slot. 9) A app for your phone to adjust the Volume and Sound EQ settings wound make it sound better.

Ajusta perfectamente
