I needed a short cable to attach a telephony modem to an ethernet patch panel, so phone rj11 on one end to ethernet rj45 on the other end. I decided I didn't want to make a patch cable and this one fit the bill. It comes in a variety of lengths and just works. Pretty quick shipping too, considering it came from the UK. Some people who are unhappy didn't read the description before they ordered.

This worked perfectly for what I needed. I don't know how many people would need this, and I was surprised that I found one and in different sizes. I have Cat5 throughout the house, and everything terminates in RJ45. However, the DSL modem and DSL filter are expecting RJ11. So I needed a patch cable. I tried creating my own, but the wires were loose, and the phone kept cutting out. This did the job perfectly.

Wrong pins connected for my purposes. Need 1,2,3,and 6 for Ethernet.

What I need is a four pair cable with an RJ11 plug on each of the pairs. what I got was a four pair cable with an RJ11 plug on one pair and an RJ45 plug on the other.

The way my home broadband was installed, the engineer split the phone and ADSL wires inside the phone socket and then ran a Cat5 with an RJ45 plug to an extension RJ11 box near the computer desk.Moved the desk but didn't fancy digging out the skirting board to re-run the wiring from the original RJ45 socket to the RJ11 extension box.With this handy cable, I was able to plug my ADSL router (that takes the RJ11) straight into the ADSL wall socket that the installing engineer used an RJ45 box.Works perfectly.

habe erfolgreich mein Telefon von der Connect Box von UnityMedia auf RJ45 gepatched und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Preis ist einwandrei. Nur die Lieferung aus dem Königreich dauert verständlicher weise etwas länger. Trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung.
