Waited to review until I put this through quite the test. This machine is still running just as strong as when I bought it almost 2 years ago. I’ve been using it to keep humidity down in my tiny rv (20ft long), it’s great. Pouring out the water tub is so satisfying and I swear I can feel a difference if I haven’t run it for a day or two. I’ve had it running most days out of these 2 years, sometimes leaving it on for a full 24 hours.wear and tear: the power connection on the back has come loose, so now if it comes disconnected, I have to take out the water tub and reach inside to hold the power cord. This is an incredibly easy fix and so far I’ve only had to reconnect it once or twice.Noise: it sounds like a dehumidifier, it’s not loud, and it’s not super quiet. Doesn’t bother me or my husband at nightOverall, if your looking for a long lasting machine, that does a decent job of keeping the air dry, this is a great choice. I’d 100% buy this again. Great value.

Very nice addition to our bathroom. During these warmer months, steamy hot showers and humid weather can lead to mold. I decided to pick up one of these dehumidifiers to see if it would help. While I do plan to purchase bigger models for other parts of the house, this one was perfect for our bathroom, but I can also see it working well for laundry rooms (especially if you hang your clothes to dry) and other small rooms where you’d typically have more moisture than usual.The sound is similar to a box fan on a low setting. Really not all that noticeable, so if anyone is worried about sound, I wouldn’t be.Currently in our bathroom this dehumidifier is picking up a few ounces of water out of the air each day. I love how easy it is to empty as well.

Very quiet, works well, not as powerful as a large full size unit, but it does pull moisture out of small spaces. (We have a 10 x 20 porch) It was worth the investment.

Our basement has very high humidity. Laundry is almost wet even after spending a few hours in the basement after the dryer. We also noticed mold forming in some spots of the basement, which is obviously very concerning when you have kids ...or if you are a human. generally. I knew nothing of de-humidifiers at all. I didn't know they existed until the husband explained this wonderful concept to me. I told him he can then pick out his own de-humidifier if he's this smart. But no, he asked me to do the research. So after looking through several dozens of products on amazon (because who goes to a physical store anymore) , reading hundreds of reviews, I decided to buy this dehumidifier. It arrived super quickly and we set it up in the basement the same day. The next day I went to remove clothes from the dryer and guess what - they were actually dry! And the mold is gone!!!! The water compartment needs to be emptied but it's not a big deal - just dump the water in the nearest sink and put the tray back in. Great little product to save my house (and my clothes!)This dehumidifier has made a huge difference in the air quality. It's easy to setup and use, easy to maintain. I'll be ordering more for my in-laws and my parents house.

I have asthma, and Cincinnati Ohio summers exhaust me of most of my energy.It takes a LOT for me to breathe through all of the oppressive, high humidity we get here. On top of that, I live on the third floor of an apartment with poor air circulation.I'd had enough.I've tried putting a fan in the window at night (cools the room but brings MORE humidity in here), and I've tried using the AC (So loud, I have to sleep with ear plugs on, and it frequently clogs with black mold. Like I said, it's humid here.)I'd only ever thought of dehumidifiers as these huge, caster-wheeled devices that gave off heat and sounded like an Xbox 360 on it's last legs, so I never considered actually owning one before last week.I changed my tune very quickly.My little white Hysure dehumidifier is a champ.I'm in a 9 foot by 15 foot man cave and this little guy is designed to collect 750ml/day, well more than I'd need it to.I wanted this thing to rock, and it does.It's currently over 80% humidity tonight here in town, yet my room humidity sensor says it's 41% humid in here right now.I'll sleep peacefully in silence and in comfort tonight.

I was looking for a quietes dehumidifier for small area and I did buy this one, because the description says, noise level <33db. But the user manual says "42db" and I proof this with a mobile sound meter, it has 42 - 45 db noise level. It's not fair. Technically, ten-db difference means 10 times louder (this is how db works). I'm have another one already with the same noise level. It's OK for daytime. But the another dehumidifier has "night mode" with reduced noise. This one has one mode only. I have no change mind to return this item right away, but wanted make you know, the real noise level is at least 42 db.
