Too Darn Hot
This mattress pad is exceedingly comfortable and I hated to return it, but I purchased it for it's cooling ability. Unfortunately, it was too hot to sleep on. If you want a very comfortable soft mattress pad and don't mind being a little warm, this is the pad for you!

Comfortable, but does not keep you cool through night sweats.
I bought this because of it's claim to provide temperature control. If your looking for something to keep you cool through night sweats, this won't do that. It does however keep the bed dry - so if you get up, walk around and go back to bed, it's more comfortable than it might otherwise have been. My budget is tight, and had I known what I know now, I might not have bought it. It is however really comfortable. It's also a lot lighter and easier to work with than a memory foam topper. Ultimately, I decided to keep it. If money weren't so tight, and I was just looking for comfort, I would have bought it without reservations.

Pleased with my purchase!
The pad was for my elderly mother who suffers with osteoporosis and assorted other back issues. Used on a hospital bed, it softened the mattress for her considerably. Worth the money!

I was skeptical - but it works
I am a warm blooded male that has struggled with "hot" sleeping most of my life. I constantly roll over areas of the bed to find a cool spot. As electricity becomes more and more expensive I have been looking for ways to lower my bill. 4-5 months of the year I find it necessary to run the air conditioner just to be able to go to sleep. That's a waste of energy. I read about this item and I'm here to tell you, it really works. I used to wake up moist because of the heat that my mattress or mattress pads held underneath me. While it's not perfect and it does not provide a refrigerator under your body - the item dissipates body heat so that I do not roll for cool spots throughout the night. I sleep better, and most importantly, I can turn my thermostat up or down to save energy without sweating or freezing myself through the night. It's a bit expensive but really is worth it.
