Celestron2” Eyepiece and Filter Accessory Kit – 12 Piece Telescope Accessory Set – E-Lux Telescope Eyepiece – Barlow Lens – Colored Filters – Diagonals – Sturdy Metal Carry Case

I have used all of these eyepieces with my telescope, Celestron EdgeHD 1100 11" SCT. They are clear and the fields are flat. My 2" filters thread onto the eyepieces with no problem. I would recommend this 2" eyepiece set as an excellent starter set. My only issue has been that, one night, I forgot to tighten the retaining screw on my 2" diagonal and the eyepiece fell out, NOOOOO, and hit the concrete. Fortunately for me the eyepiece survived! The aluminum barrel was slightly bent at the bottom, but fortunately the lenses are fine, whew. When it dropped my heart skipped a beat, and then I thought I would have to buy a new eyepiece. I picked it up, checked it out, a little dinged up, but still fully functional. I would buy this set again.

I've always used 1.25" eyepieces until I recently bought a scope that would fit 2" pieces. So I bought this set to start my 2" collection. Wow, these are great. Nice big clear views. They are so much easier to look thru than the 1.25" pieces. Getting the 45 angle, barrow lens, filters, and case make this a great deal. The only area for improvement would be including a lower focal lens piece for higher magnification. Since buying this set I have added to it by buying two Celestron Ultima LX 2" lens in 13mm and 8mm focal lens to round out my 2" collection. Two of these Ultima LX 2" lens cost about as much as this set!

If you have only used 1.25 inch eyepieces and your scope can take 2 inch ones, there is no better way to start seeing what you have been missing than this very professionally presented set , it even has a 90 degree diagonal , tube extender and color filters , all in a very rugged and great looking case ! It’s a huge improvement over my old smaller eyepieces, and for less than the price of one , you get 3 and a very nice 2x Barlow !!!

This kit is a good value.The value is found in the kit as a whole and the BIG view through these 2" eyepieces. The extra cost and weight vs the 1.25" eyepieces are worth the extra investment and effort to rebalance the scope.A shortcoming is in the fuzzy image near the edge of field. Lens that correct this are considerably more expensive (each lens more costly than this kit).Bottom line: very pleased with my purchase every time I look though these eyepieces.

I purchased this kit to go with my Celestron CPC 1100. For a starter kit, it works very well. It is nice that everything is in a nice hard case. I recommend anyone who has a larger scope like mine to go with 2" eyepieces. They make all the difference! If you have a scope in the CPC series from Celestron, make sure you get this kit to start with. I am going to use this for awhile, until I can afford to get higher end eyepieces and filters. The only thing with this kit when I received it, was that it seemed to be perhaps a returned item? The lenses were wrapped in the usual plastic I though these kind of things come in, plus the case was scuffed up a bit. Other than that, it works great though!

They old saying, you get what you pay for...doesn't always hold truth, but in this casefor the money it's OK...although I had to glue the case because it was falling apart in the front corner.thank god for crazy glue!!!!

I wanted a larger eyepiece for my telescope. This works!

If you have never tried 2" eyepiece on a telescope and you don't have budget to buy one, don't try it. Becasue after going back 1.25" eyepiece becaomes a tiny dimmed hole. Quality of the eyepieces are great, I don't see any image quality issue, but as these are my first 2" eyepieces, I don't have any high quality eyepiece to compare. For this price, you can't go wrong.
