Nice and bright
I used this light rope in my kitchen, under and above my cabinets. The screws are short, and there is a 'trench' which prevents the screw from going deeper into the surface. I had to replace them in a couple of spots over my sink, because the little ones just wouldn't hold. The bracket doesn't do a great job of holding the light, even when I squeezed it tighter. It did help that cable ties are provided, which I put under the bracket when I screwed it in.Due to their nature, the lights are not highly flexible, so you may need to allow a little extra for curves. Fifty feet was more than adequate for my needs. The plug end is on the far right [by the knife block] and runs up alongside the refrigerator, back over top of the cabinets, to plug into an Alexa-controlled mini smart plug behind the mixer. The light rope does not have a switch on it, so this is the solution that works for me.Overall, it was a lot of work to put them up [and I cut channels into the cabinet overhangs for a smooth transition], but I'm satisfied with the light output.

Very bright and uniform lighting...Finally.
I used this on my outdoor wood trellis, something I've been doing for years and lighting technology improved. As a home designer, I love using hidden rope lighting all over the homes, inside and out, and now, finally, there is a great neon like replacement to the older rope lighting, many of which were not that bright and did not last that long.I'm going to start designing home that can integrate this style of lighting outside in lieu of the older wall mounted fixtures. This is so much better and uniform, plus with the color options, you now have the easy option of built-in Christmas or Halloween lighting!

Overall good product, but no on/off switch
This rope light looks quite nice and produces excellent uniform light. I have only one issue with it: there is no on/off switch. So, wherever you plan to install it, keep in mind you need to figure out how you would be turning it on and off.

THIS STUFF IS INCREDIBLE
I put this stuff up yesterday. ran it under my deck. Tacked it up with .75" cable clamps about every 12-15" to keep it tight. Put up 50ft in about 30-45 min. This stuff is super bright and very clean looking. I bought the white and it's very bright. Think I would switch to warm white. We'll see how this stuff lasts over the winter before invest in my whole house as this stuff is a little pricey, but it is 100 times better than traditional rope lighting.

Easy to set up and use!
The media could not be loaded. Prepping for our Christmas boat parade I wanted to outline dolphins pulling Santa. I cut dolphin shapes from plywood, painted them black, and then used Velcro strips to attach the rope lights to the dolphins. Although they are advertised as putting light out in one direction, it's actually quite bright from both sides. We wrapped the space between dolphins in black cloth ribbon. The final effect was outstanding! The picture and video are from the yard, not mounted on the boat as the parade was rained out. I had the lights set-up and outside in the weather for two weeks with no problem. Very happy with this purchase!!!
