microSHIFT R9 Drop Bar Shift Lever Set 2 x 9-Speed, Short Reach, Shimano Compatible

I had a Trek frame sitting in my “gonna do something with it someday” stock, so I built it up with Microshift R9 shifters and derailleurs just to see how it went, and the overall impression is, not too bad. The shifting action is not as slick and refined as Shimano or SRAM, but it is as accurate as those guys, and I suspect it will get smoother over time. The levers themselves are solid and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to build this drivetrain again.
