This is a Great Amp!
This is a Great Amp!!I bought this amp to separate my home theater 5.1 and 2 channel stereo from my living room so I could hook up an awesome 2.1 channel stereo to my computer in my office. Ive tried a lot of different powered speakers that Ive never been extremely happy with.. I'm sure glad I took a step up and decided to go with an integrated amp! I am extremely happy with this purchase!I have it hooked up to some JM Lab (Focal) 816s floor speakers (Kimber Kable 8PR speaker cable) and they have NEVER sounded this GREAT. I have the usb port hooked up to a Mac. Itunes, Pandora and Spotify all sound fantastic! Not a big difference in sound when the tube is turned off.. just a bit warmer with it on.Not having any tone controls was an issue for me but the tone/sound that the Peachtree nova125 produces is absolutlely amazing!!If I ever do want to mess around with the tone I'll do it on the Mac. I find most of the time that just listening to it flat sounds perfect anyway.Maybe in a few months I'll try the Kef LS50 monitor speakers... but for now I'm good with my (little bit older) Focals 816s and I would definitely reccomend the Peachtree Audio Nova125 SE.

Peachtree Audio nova125 SE
I decided to separate our 2 channel audio from the surround sound AVR in our family room. I had read about Peachtree and decided to try this unit. I can say the nova125 SE exceeded my expectations. If I can explain the difference in sound quality I would describe it as having cleaner highs, a better more pronounced bottom end and a wider more detailed sound stage. My wife even noticed a dramatic change and she never notices things like that.I do not miss the fact it does not have tone controls. It has a very good tone to it. I did hook up my SVS Dual SB12-NSD subwoofers to the pre-outs. I have not been able to notice a difference in the sound with the tube on or off yet.It has enough inputs for my application however if I were to recommend any change I would have liked it to have a line out for running to another zone. Now I am waiting to receive my Polk LSI-9 fortress plus crossover modifications from vr3mods to see what a difference they will make.My wife and I are really enjoying the Peachtree Audio nova125 SE and would recommend it to friend.Thank You Peachtree Audio!

Amazing
I totally love my NOVA. I mainly use it with a Sonos CONNECT or an AppleTV (via my TV). It sounds amazing. All of the buttons on the front are very satisfying to press and light up when they are selected. The knob moves when you use the remote to turn the volume up or down.My only complains are very minor. Changing the volume via the remote changes it in big intervals. I usually want somewhere between the intervals. Usually I just deal with it a little louder or get up and change the knob. It's worth noting that the NOVA does not like Dolby Digital audio sources. I set my Apple TV and TV to always use Dolby and the NOVA freaked out and would stutter a lot when using that source.I have some very heavy duty RCA cables I use to connect my turntable's preamp to the NOVA. The first time I removed them the NOVA's RCA jack came out with the cable. Simply put it back in and used less crazy cables and never had a problem with it after that.

A peach of an integrated.
I've been eyeing one of these for some time now. I needed something to drive a pair of 4 ohm speakers. I did a lot of research before choosing this product. It has plenty of power a very nice DAC section to give you connectivity to all of the digital content you would want and a tube buffer stage to to allow lossy formats like MP3 to send a little less compressed. Very sweet sounding a runs cool @ 4 ohms due to class D amp section design. The esthetics are very nice as well. The cherry cabinet needs to be seen.

this is by far the best bang for your buck
This amplifier has to be heard to believe. I have had experience with McIntosh, Marantz and Rotel, this is by far the best bang for your buck. I am hesitant to even mention the price because sometimes you feel a sacrifice has been made when using this idiom but that is not the case here as the sound quality is truly exceptional and stands up to units twice the cost of the Peachtree. The build quality is great, I have no doubt it will stand up to time. Aesthetically they successfully managed to combine retro and modern, I receive comments about it often when friends and family are over.Sonically, to my amateur ears, I would say it pairs best with speakers that are design to be neutral to warm. I tried these with Paradigm Studios and Signature as well as Bowers and Wilkins cm8 and 805N before making a final decision. Though both are very pleasing, my wife and I were enamored with the pairing of B&W. As stated before, I have experience with Rotel and I think Rotel is in a lot of trouble here comparatively. For those that do not know, Rotel is designed for B&W (sister companies). My wife and I were at our local Best Buy and listened to the Rotel separates on B&W 803D's (dream speakers). My wife despised the sound, writing it off as far too bright on the highs. We then went into the other (lesser room in Best Buy's eyes) and had a chance to hear the Peachtree 220SE powering 804D's (Another dream speaker and amp). We were floored at the difference. There is about an $8,000 difference in price between the two setups and the less expensive one ran away with it. When I questioned the sales manager he agreed, saying that Peachtree's new SE line is just that good and many have experienced the same thing.Buy it, it is that good. Though I wish I had the pockets for the 220SE, I am amazed at the affordability/performance of the 125se. It is deep, it is wide, it is crystal clear. When I listen to Queen or Norah Jones, I get the sense that they are right in front of me.
