Too thin, too weak, too bad.
I soooo wanted to like these puppy pads. They were just the right size for my 3 lb Maltese & contained TWICE as many pads as my usual brand but cost only $2 more. What a bargain! Not! We've used around 15 of them so far & they've ALL failed.* The manufacturer indicates the pads can hold up to a cup of liquid without leaking. They even have several videos on the internet showing people pouring a cup of blue liquid onto the pad, then immediately folding up the pad to reveal a perfectly dry floor. Well I don't know about everyone else but I can rarely dispose of a pad immediately after my dog pees. In my experience, the liquid eventually spreads through the entire pad, over the edges and, yes, onto the floor in less than 30 minutes.* The cellulose fill is VERY thin and is even non-existent in some spots. That's right. There are bare spots in the middle or at the edges of some of the pads. When I hold it up to the light, I can clearly see through to the back liner.* Speaking of the liner...the manufacturer calls it a "leak proof plastic backing". I'd go only so far as to use the term "leak-RESISTANT". It's not leak-proof when there are holes or tears in it. At least two of the pads had small tears in the liner right out of the box. Two more liners were torn when they scooted across my SMOOTH bathroom floor tiles. And one was my own fault -- I caught the liner on my chipped fingernail.* I'm not happy with the top layer either. There's no quilting to help channel the liquid. It feels like it's nothing more than a generic facial tissue.* The pads are so thin that even a slight breeze (my ceiling fan, my air filter, even closing a door) will scatter them across the floor. My poor pup shouldn't have to search for his pad because a puff of air mysteriously blew it under the bed. But I should have realized how thin they were when I received the shipment. The box of 300 pads was slightly SMALLER than the box of 150 pads of my usual brand.I'd love to get my money back or better yet, get a free box of my usual brand to replace these. I guess that can't happen because my husband already recycled the shipping box & I really don't want to spend any more money to return them to Amazon. But perhaps this review will help someone else to decide whether you are willing to accept a lower quality puppy pad in exchange for saving some cash. I know I'm not.

These pads are decent products
I hate to give it "just" three stars, I think it could definitely be bumped to 3.5 but I went back and forth clicking on the 4th star. When you're shopping for these, you're really looking for something reliable. I mean, your living situation could be compromised! The love you have for your pup could be jeopardize! Contrary to those who claim some sort of defects, I have to say that the box arrived damage (by the delivery, no doubt) but everything in it was A OK. The pad was slimmer than I expected but what I really was disappointed about was that the padding can be quite patch at time. and right now, it seems that I'm going through a batch where it's almost like there's more "holes" (meaning areas without padding) than fully padded. Because the whole thing is rather slim, it turns out quite flimsy. The size is great though! So what I resolved to do is use the XXL as a base (even though I have a tarp underneath the whole pen area) and place some better quality pads on top which are not available at this size, unfortunately. The one I tend to prefer (and YMMV) are the Hartz Home Protection Pads (http://www.amazon.com/Hartz-Home-Protection-Pads-Dogs/dp/B000G136RM/ref=pd_sbs_petsupplies_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=0MVR1J8FJTV8WQ4MF46D). Let's face it, everything will depend on your dog, how well you cover your area, how frequently you are willing to change the pads, how thoroughly and frequently you will wash the floor underneath. Whenever someone complains of smell I think, you know it's just like a bathroom, the bacteria lingers in the air and that's what smells. Clean up the place. Whatever pad you buy is not magical. And none of them are super-absorbent without leaking ever! TLDR: the quality is okay and not consistent from pad to pad, the XXL size redeems it a lot but not fully, the price is affordable.

Wow - Finally found a pad that saves me money and WORKS!
I have been using puppy pads for my dogs for several years. These pads are the best I have ever found based on price and performance. I have a new puppy so the size is perfect - I can add or delete as needed to constantly provide protection. They are consistently good quality. I am so glad I found these pads!!!Just a note to some of the others that say pads like this are too thin... Other pads claim to be a thicker grade, but the Mednet pads ARE the best from a thickness to price standpoint. I know as I've tried others. Don't be fooled. If they are too thick, they cost too much, and if they are too thin they don't work. These are the PERFECT balance. An added bonus with Mednet pads is they are vacuum sealed with separate inner bags (3x100 in the 300 pack) and a box of 300 is half the size of other brands that only have 200 in a giant box! I only have so much room to store pads in my closet!!These are well packaged and rarely do you ever find one that doesn't have issues like I did with other pads. With other pads I found that the cotton lining was flipped or bunched up therefore the pad was unusable and a WASTE OF MY MONEY. These were all perfect and worth the money!

Perfect for standard size Puppy Pad Tray
I absolutely love these puppy pads! You can't beat the price for the quantity that you get. My box of 300 lasted me over a year. I just realized this when I went to order more and had to go all the way back to 2016 in my archived Amazon orders. We use a "puppy pad tray" for my 9 lbs Havachon. She does like to scratch and "dig" at the pad before using the potty so we put two pads down and spread them out but still overlap each other. This has been working great. I definitely recommend these.
