Shower Seal (Large), Cast and Bandage Protector

This is a great invention! So much better then a plastic bag! I had purchased the more expensive version from a medical supply store and then in the transport from the hospital it was mislaid, so I ordered this one at a fraction of the cost. It arrived promptly and the blue wrap around the top of the elastic actually I felt more secure about then I imagine the other would've felt to me. Since I've now found the other one, I'll be returning at keeping this one. It's great to be able to take a shower and not have to be worried about getting the cast wet.

This product works well but you must seal the top well with the band. I have been using it for 3+ weeks and so far it hasn't torn or punctured. The plastic is thin so I am not sure how long it will hold up.

The blue wrap is awesome, it fits my skinny leg by wrap around 3 times and keeps the water out.Now the plastic bag wasn't that sturdy cause it broke after first use.

Do not waste your money ....I ended up using garbage liners. Second time I used I had an inch of water in the foot of the bag, got my cast wet. Small holes all over the bag and somehow even with the wide, cut your circulation off band, I could still feel the water run down the back of my leg. I ended up using trash liner and tucked it into top of cast and then a second leaf bag liner over that...works great!

Interesting idea. The band is a bit cumbersome to secure and I think the velcro will cause the fabric to fray over time.

That thing SUCKED! I only bought it because I could not locate (at the time) my other one which was way better. After my surgery, using this one for the first time, water leaked in and dripped down my leg towards my bandages. I had to stop showering and figure something out. That's when I searched my home HARD for the first one I had and thank goodness I found it. Dont buy this thing. That blue strip does NOT keep water out.

I was in a leg cast for 4 weeks, and the plastic had started to break down by then - got small holes where my leg rested on the shower side. The wrap-around thing is also kinda difficult to use and gets stuck on everything.

Finally I found the perfect product for my showers needs, is better than the other brand I bought last time, this one is a perfect water seal my cast never get a single drop of water. I would recommend to every one. It has double seal for better protection. The plastic sleeve is enough strong to cover my leg and my cast.
