I am blown away by the cost/performance ratio of this french press. For context, I upgraded from the 'Amazon's Choice' Bodum glass french press. I was looking for a press with thermal capabilities, but the difference between the two presses is several orders of magnitude.To start, the lead 'most helpful' review is FALSE. This press keeps my coffee incredibly hot - both after the initial brew and 15-30 min later when Im enjoying the follow-on cup. I had no idea how much heat was lost when using the glass Bodum press - Im using the same hot water from my insta-hot faucet and the difference post-brew is huge. HOT DELICIOUS COFFEE! The thermal build of this press is incredible, and I am consistently blow away by how hot my coffee is now. I really wish I would have known what I was missing! By the way, simply twist the lid to close the spout and keep the carafe sealed - this will keep your brew hot for an extended amount of time.I would also like to mention something silly, that I really enjoy - the pour. When filling my cup, the pour itself is really beautiful - watching the crema flow out first, followed by the smooth black liquid in a gorgeous arc. It makes your morning cup that much better!This is an incredibly solid product at an amazing price point. The build is bombproof and will no doubt last for years and years of service. A TRUE 5-star product.

I love coffee , but realized I had not tasted coffee until I found this French Press! So easy to use and much better quality than any I have teied in the past. Easy to clean and I really like how it is larger than most other French Press coffee makers out there. The coffee stays hot too with the insulated stainless steel - better than Yeti in my opinion. For even casual drinkers, it will have you coming in your pants, your dress shoes and your best shirt to get this coffee.

I’m stoked I found this press after breaking my glass one from target. This one is about the same price if not cheaper and this one is 10x better. I’m clumsy and bang stuff around in the morning so it was only a matter time before I broke the other one but this little press can come camping with us and survive the beating or drops. So far I’m super happy with the durability and the coffee stays hot longer. If you need a new French press I’d definitely persuade you to grab this one, it’s perfect.

I love this press, it keeps coffee hot for hours. I have to make sure the spout is closed, to keep the heat from escaping. It’s perfect for 2 people.

I like my coffee hot, not warm. I wore out my previous french press screen/filtering set up after several years of use. Looked for replacement screen/filter set-up for it - but it was no longer available. This new French Press coffee maker's lid does NOT seal tightly, as it is a push on lid to top of the base part of the container. Heat does eventually escape, even with the open part turned so that it is not pourable. Previous Stainless Steel French Press had a twist on lid that promoted the coffee to stay hot, with a locking closed flip up piece to pour from lid part with lid still on base. If you knock container over with coffee in it, the lid/container would not leak. This new french press, the lid could come off with knocking it over and large coffee spill event. Also the lid/filtering set up is poor design. I, like another reviewer, had to resort to glueing the stick into the lid to allow the 3 piece filtering end part of set up at the bottom of the stick to be readily unscrewed to clean - as before gluing the top of stick the stick kept unscrewing from the lid and not releasing the filters end. Very annoying. I would not buy this French Press again due to the issues I'm experiencing. I will look elsewhere for next purchase.

Keeps coffee hot for a long time and the price was great. Also does not break like a glass bodum. The only downside is it’s not dishwasher safe, do you have to hand wash. The top pops apart and you need to wash in there. I would prefer if that part was sealed. However overall I’m really happy with it.

I love this thermal press !!! After reading many reviews on a lot of different presses I was a little disheartened at the time that it would keep my beverage hot. So what I had deduced was that the vacume seals thermal presses had the best keep hot time( Still only about 4 hours) and they were expensive. So I thought I'd try this one because it was only about 14 dollars and I wouldn't be out much money if it wasn't that great. I AM SO PLEASED !!!! IT KEEPS MY TEA AND COFFEE HOT FOR ABOUT 5 HOURS AND WARM FOR A FEW MORE. FAR BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!! I like to have tea while on reading before I go to sleep and sometimes in the middle if the nite wake up and have a sip or two and fall back asleep. It was so nice to have warm soothing tea throughout the nite. Best purchase ever. No need to break your wallet on the 40 to 60 dollar ones this works just fine.

This device does what it says in terms of being a French press.I was SO excited at the concept: A carafe thermos and French press, all in one!The very idea of a coffee carafe is that it's a thermos style pot that keeps your drink WARM.I was EXCITED to have a pot that kept my coffee WARM!It doesn't have a full seal. The spout lets cold air in and within about 30 minutes, your lovely pot of coffee is COLD.I'd pay another 15 or 20 dollars for this device if it kept my coffee HOT.Consider a revision, please, manufacturer.

I'm usually not one to do amazon reviews, but the process in getting my french press was so pleasant and the product is so great that I just had to. I don't know why this is not more popular on Amazon, I was a little border line about ordering this since it had so little reviews and feedback. After ordering the Amazon classic plastic french press for the third time, I decided to try something else. Wow am I sure glad I did! First of all the seller is very kind and they took the time to send me a nice email before I received my package about what to expect and how to use it which does not usually happen with my orders so it was very reassuring. And boy is this coffee maker great! I bought it after breaking my third of those plastic ones and it works perfectly! Very durable, but not too heavy. It keeps my coffee hot for a surprisingly long time (over an hour) and it is just so nice to pour a nice smooth cup of coffee and have the steam still coming out. Also very easy to clean, and again very thick insulation and durable so I think this is going to last me a while. It really is worth the buy its quite affordable and works really well.

Il materiale è sufficientemente robusto, in rapporto al prezzo. Qualche difficoltà a pulire il filtro metallico, che in altri modelli usati non riscontravo, ma nulla di grave. Ottima la possibilità di mantenere al caldo il prodotto per ore.

What's there to dislike ? Nothing for me, Quality is excellent, easy cleaning, PVC Cap no to get hot while brewing and the quite beautiful Maker ! Have been using for 40 days almost every day for tea and coffee, Recommended !
