This dual layer case manufactured by CaseTek is better than the Otterbox commuter version. The plastic hardshell has more surface area to support the greater-coverage soft layer, and the cutouts are more precise. The dust cover more securely folds into tucked position. I am impressed with the quality and design detail of this case. Although the brand is lesser-known and less expensive, the superior quality means it is NOT a knock-off. If Otterbox made a defender version of this case, then maybe it would be preferable. Notwithstanding, this is the #1 most protective low-profile case for the Motorola Z3 currently in production. Make sure to purchase a good screen protector too.

When I put this case on, right away the phone fit in nice and tight. Camera is protected. And case feels great holding and quality wise. Better than outterbox case.

Perfect! The case is comparable to OtterBox brand but without the huge cutout for the volume buttons. The fingerprint reader is still accessible and works great. The magnet is covered, so you won't be able to use mods with the case on, but I rarely use mods and wanted the magnet protected as well. It is a sturdy case without adding bulk.

Would have given 5 stars if not for two minor issues. The power button is way way way too sensitive. The cover over the port can be a bit difficult to open at times. Other than that after slapping a screen protector on with this case I'm definitely not worried about anything happening to it. This case is definitely tougher. Looks and feels similar to an otter box. Definitely worth the money.

Ordered it for my husband. It’s thin, which is what he wanted, and does a great job protecting his phone. All the cut outs for the. Irons are where they should be and it’s done well. Sturdy and good quality considering the price and material.

Hard to find decent cases for the Moto z3. This one is exactly what I was looking for! Easy to use the print reader, covers charger port to protect it, volume buttons and lock button works great with case on, and back camera is protected since the case sticks out more the the camera does. Great buy!

I am really happy with this case. It's exactly what I was looking for so that I didn't have to spend a ton of money on an OtterBox. The case is lightweight and fits really well on my Moto Z3. I love that it is raised around the edge of the screen and the camera to help protect them from scratches or impact if dropped. The rubber part of the case has a great gripping texture on the sides of the phone and I can use the fingerprint reader pretty easily. My pop socket adhered no problem to the back of the case which is a big deal for me. I love my pop socket. Over all, very pleased. 👍

Very solid case for drops and bumps. The buttons for the volume and power needed to be cut down to ensure that the buttons worked properly. I bought this in March and now in November the piece that covers the usb-c plug just broke off. I probably won't buy this case again- it isn't that much cheaper than an OtterBox commuter and now that the USBC cover is gone I'll need to buy a new case.
