Biscuit books are great for beginning readers. They’re simple and sweet — and this birthday story is so cute! It would make a great little gift for any child. My three year old started reading them because her older brother introduced them to her. She was able to read the majority independently thanks to phonetics, sight words and context clues!

On their birthdays, I gave this book to my granddaughter and to two little girls I mentor in reading. They are early readers. The story is sweet and the illustrations are adorable. The girls really liked the book.

My 20 month old son loves this book. He loves dogs and he loves to read. The book is also very easy to read so my son can say most of the words. I like how it encourages him to speak. The only downside is that now he wants a puppy just like Biscuit! Lol

My 2 year old daughter is in love with anything Biscuit! She started with Biscuit and the baby, and has received many more from this series. This one seems to keep her entertained, and she asks me to re-read it to her over and over again, which means the story must be entertaining for her. I recommend for a two year old.

It’s a short little book, but my Biscuit-obsessed toddlers love it! They are too young to appreciate the mazes, puzzles, and word searches in the back, but they like to look at them anyway. It’s a great addition to our Biscuit collection!

I used to read all of Biscuit’s adventures when I was little, so I decided to get this for my nephew’s birthday! He absolutely loved it. Very good quality! Wonderful story!
