There are probably better out there, but for the price this is an excellent beard trimmer. Quickly charges to give about 100 minutes use (although that will depend on what it's cutting, etc), hasn't nicked me yet, cuts evenly, is very adjustable and does the job. I suppose the only negative might be that it won't cut below 1mm, but for me and most out there that will be moot.Edit (June 2020): Well, I don't do beards any more since a few months, but the Coronavirus situation has got me to try it as a hair trimmer. I usually have shortish hair when going to the barbers, letting it grow for a couple of months before going back, but as I hadn't had hair cut for over a month before lockdown, my hair was really getting unruly and the beginnings of a mullet was forming.OK, so I decided to bite the bullet and cut my own hair with these clippers. I watched a few YouTube videos for advice, then just went for it, starting with some scissors to get it down a bit, then finishing all over with these hair clippers. Went for a 20mm on top, with shorter on the sides and back (15, 10, 5), using it unguarded for my neckline and to tidy up behind and around the ears. Fortunately my wife helped me with the back (thanks). Lo and behold, I'm really pleased with the results, and so is my wife. I'll be doing this from now on.It's really good for the hair, at least for me it was.

A nifty alternative to keep my beard tidy now that barbers are shut for the foreseeable in the lockdown. Lightweight, easy to use, comes with two different length trimming combs for short or long beards, as well as a detail trimmer for trimming moustaches and even a free razor! Simply set the length dial to your chosen setting and away you go! If you’re worried about taking too much off, use the longer comb on the highest length setting and work your way up until you reach your desired length, or change to the shorter comb and do the same. The detail trimming attachment works well for shaping your beard and trimming your moustache too. I haven’t used the razor that came with the trimmer as I am happy with the finish the trimmer provides when using it without either of the comb attachments. Crucially, it did not pull or tug at my beard at all while using it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the charger is a bit loose when plugged into the charging socket, but it works fine. Overall, a really great, easy to use product.

Have to say I spent a good few hours reading reviews on these products and it was very difficult to make a decision.In the end I went for this one as I know the “company brand” and also it seemed very good value for money.Also many of the ones I looked at started at too high a cut length. I needed one that would give me a “number 1” haircut.Arrived in good time (with a free razor and blades).Charged up quickly and was smooth and easy to use.I cut my own hair with it (well shaved my own hair) and it was a very easy job and gave me a smooth and even cut.Highly recommend these

This is a fantastic razor and don’t be put off by the beard reviews , I don’t have a beard and was a bit wary of buying this item for hair cutting but how wrong I was. It’s a fantastic razor for hair cutting and trimming and is sharp and easy to use.I think Braun should advertise this item a bit more on the hair cutting side as well as a beard cutter as it seems to be very good on both.A great buy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone for beard and hair cutting 10/10 from me.

dont have a beard bought these as hair clippers and they are superb some reviewers dont know what they are talklng about they should read the instruction book. full charge in less than 1 hour you get 2 clipper graded combs 1 for your beard and 1 for your haircut . smaller comb for beard and sideboards and larger one for haircut combs just slide off to change if you remove comb you can use bare blade to trim kneck hair. set mine on number 2 and it cut the same as i have at the barbers. this is a superb piece of klt. i will not be going back to the barbers

Ordered these clippers in order to keep my receding locks in some sort of tidiness during the Covid crisis.Couldn’t be easier and after a tentative start, my wife is now adept at the job of running over my bonce with a number 2 equivalent (6.5 mm on the dial height adjuster) with a number 1 up the neck line.This will have paid for itself by the time we come out of this virus mess. I’ll still go to my old hairdresser to be fair to her and keep a local business supported, but they will still be useful for a quick tidy up if required.One word of caution - if you take the comb off to clear it in mid cut, then the adjustment dial sets itself to minimum height when you clip it back on, so on my first cut I had an accidental scalping on one pass !😂 No harm done as I wasn’t going out anywhere !

This is my first battery powered trimmer that I'm not particularly impressed with - it takes a lot more passes than my mains/battery powered BaByliss unit. It's also very light which is good for travelling with but I prefer more heft. In its defence, it ain't that costly.

Got this trimmer in the current pandemic, as I couldn't source a hair clipper. After a couple of weeks use the battery life is good, and it's easy to hold when trimming my beard. Also with the attachments included my other half has managed to give me a haircut. Ok I'm sure it's not up to a true hair clipper, but needs must, and I'm more than happy with the quality and "feel" of the trimmer for the price.

Sehr sehr guter Trimmer. War aber auch nicht anders zu erwarten bei Braun. Wer einen trimmer braucht der sollte sich genau den zulegen. Der ist echt gut.

I received a charger in the box, unlike some of the other reviewers who did not. The good thing about this trimmer is that you can use it while connected to main power, even when battery is out of charge. I was able to get a perfect beard trim and salon style shaping (thanks to the fine trimming attachment) in no time! Time taken to charge is also quite less. I would definitely recommend this product for convenient and quick home grooming.

Everything as described have used it a few times and looks to be really good...still too early to judge. Overall good product
