This book is fantastic! My immediate reaction was pure excitement and eagerness to read this book and thumb through it when I’m looking to hear Steven’s calming and insightful voice in my heart.. He has been a true source of inspiration for me and I just love wherever and whatever his mind reaches. His talent for speech and writing is a rarity in this field— in this world !This is an impressing book. I have been searching for such a book to not only use in my moments of study or forgetfulness, but also to leave out on my coffee table for curious guests who need a concise, precise interpretation should they pull themselves a few cards. This is the type of refreshing perspective that has been needed in the Tarot realm.. it reads well and is carefully optimistic. This is a book you can give to nearly anyone who may be curious or need an education about the constructive wonders and deep safety of Tarot.Thank you a dozen times over, my friend. Excellent job! ☺️ This will be a book for the ages.

I have many tarot books and this one is my favorite by far. Each card gets a picture and about two pages of interpretation, including questions to ask about the card (which are very illuminating). There is also quite a bit about tarot reading in general. This is a great book for beginners or seasoned readers alike. I have nothing negative to say about this book.

The “In Focus” series is really great. I love that they break things down and explain them without getting boring. Working on buying the whole series

It arrived a few days late but that was okay. Once I opened the package there were a few visible bumps and bruises on the book. I would love that there were none of those but I was happy with the purchase. The book had a compartment at the end to hold the big poster of the tarot cards.Now, inside the book, I was surprised at how detailed it was. I have seen most books just give what they the cards meant to them over the years. Overall the best purchase I have made in the 3+ years of reading tarot cards.

I really love this book, only thing I don't like is there isn't as much information for reversed cards. Would've given 5 stars if not for that! Still a great reference tool!!

I am impressed with this book and this practitioner. Bright is a clear writer who takes a down-to-earth approach to the tarot. If you want an approachable book that maps high-minded concepts onto concrete examples, this is the one. One can learn something new at any stage of the craft, especially (in my opinion) beginner and intermediate tarotists. The book is good for professionals and those who want to read for personal use.

Easy to read; clear and straight to the point wordings.

Amazing breakdowns of the cards and a good overarching theme of what each of them means.

It was a cold winter afternoon when I decided to cosy down in front of the fire and take a look at my latest Tarot acquisition and I ended up sitting there for a lot longer than I’d planned! Having first started on my own Tarot journey over 50 years ago (albeit very quietly for a lot of those years) you might assume I’d have all the information I need or want to know by now. Far from it, I always look at new decks and books with great interest as you can never stop learning and growing. However it’s been a long long time since a book has grabbed me like this one did, hence a review .. I never normally write them. I notice that many reviews praise it as a great book for the beginner .. which it definitely is - but there is plenty in there for the more experienced reader as well. I especially like the way Steven doesn’t just give the usual general overview and meaning for each card, but includes thinking of them as situations and people - and then to think about how each one manifests itself in our own lives. Thus helping us personally relate to, understand and remember the qualities of each card. It’s very well and thoughtfully written. It’s a very tactile book which I like, I’ve had it next to me on the sofa as I pick it up to dip in and out of frequently and I find myself stroking the cover, it feels so nice. As a bonus it comes with a lovely glossy Major Arcana chart (see photo), great for a lazy card of the day as you can glance at it and see which one you feel drawn to that day.I highly recommend this book for all levels of readers.

This book is beautifully designed, and written.I wish it had been the first book on tarot I purchased.

I love the way Steven explain meaning of every card . He explain meaning in different way good different and I lover it . It was my first tarot book and iam happy that I find this book . Good for beginner
