Excellent children's book which gives an enticing view of island living in Scotland.

This wonderful book is all about a girl called Katie Morag who tries to deliver the mail. The setting is the tiny island of Struay. You'll never forget this book because of the beautiful illustrations of the island. Katie Morag has the most amazing grandma who is a farmer. The funniest part is when Katie slips into the water and drops the parcels. SPLASH !She gets into a muddle. What in the world will happen next ? Luckily Grannie Island helps her to sort out the problem because Katie is very confused. Everyone should read this amazing book !by Parrot Class, Riverely Primary

This item arrived late but I'm very happy with it. I brought this for my son as this is what he would have read at school. There are lots of pictures that help him to understand what is going on in the story. The book is in excellent condition the only way you can tell its come from a school is by the plastic cover stuck over the book cover but like I say really great book and would recommend it anyone.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter adores the Katie Morag stories. The characters are endearing and you get a good feel for the location thanks to Hedderwick's beautiful illustrations of the island and sea. The whole series is a little gem in the big literary world of children's literature. We plan to visit the Island of Coll one day to see the island where it is all set.

Love all the Katie Morag stories they relate to families illustrations are beautiful

This book is one of my favourites! I'd say the vocaulary is suitable for older children, over the age of 8 maybe.
