Like it but Incomplete directions & attaching the lanyard impossible
I took off a star because of the lanyard & the lack of directions. Getting the lanyard attached is impossible unless one has a teeny tiny crochet hook - even then it was frustrating & time consuming. Not sure why the Neptor doesn't come with the lanyard attached (or make the slot larger). The directions were incomplete. Does not show that matching colored cable is only for recharging the Neptor (one end of colored cable goes to Neptor and USB end goes to computer). And one needs to use one's own device cable to charge it with the Neptor. Also says Neptor starts to charge once a device is plugged into it. Not true - one needs to press the side button once to turn it on. However, the Neptor automatically starts getting recharged once attached to your computer.Otherwise, I'm liking this external battery pack. I have only used it for a few days and so far, so good. I like the shape of it - easy to find in a purse. I get at least 2 full charges of my Droid Razor. I haven't yet tried to charge my iPad with it.

Great Portable Battery Source On The Go
Have you ever left the house or been away from a power source and looked at your phone and realized it's almost out of power?That happens to me a lot and now I know I can count on this battery charger to keep my phone charged up for the day, even when I can't plug my phone into an electrical outlet.This charger stays charged for a long time.I check the Neptor often, and it doesn't seem to discharge energy until I plug my phone into it.The battery recharges quickly when plugged in, and it's good to go.The Neptor is compact and light, and takes up very little space in my purse or bag.I've also bought it as gifts for others, and they love it too.

Superb! Look nice and work well.
Very happy with these. Recently available at an excellent price, I got three to give as gifts, already had one of my own purchased previously. Nice looking, small, compact size, simple to operate, good quality. They work great and do the job. Top quality. The 1 and 2.1 amp ports are all most people will need. 5600 mAh is enough for smart phones and most tablets. I have some larger (more capacity) units I also like, but the looks and size of these make them a favorite.

Skip it
I bought 2. The colors are bold and it's the perfect size, so I wanted to love these. One was cracked around plug area (I should've returned it) and the internal portion comes out. The other one was in good condition, but just randomly shuts off while charging your phone, so it's not effective. Spend a couple more bucks, and get a better model.

No overcharging circuitry built in?
This is very big for its capacity. I thought it was going to be a lot smaller but that's my mistake for not reading the specs. What concerns me is that the instructions say to promptly remove when charged to avoid damage. Huh? So I can only charge it when I have time to check to see if the charging is complete? No charging overnight? Kind of scary to think overcharging protection is not built in.

Doesn't charge my phone
I had written: "My phone, when plugged into this charger, does not recognize that the charger exists."But: there's another step. You have to push the button on the side to make the charging actually commence. In light testing (I haven't given it a full-charge "heavy" test yet) it does fine.So I'm not returning it after all.

Neptor charger works pretty good
I bought this after a 10hr flight for my Kindle FireHD as I was in the middle of reading a book and of course it gets to a page turner part and my battery dies! It was fully charged on my flight back and was able to keep my Kindle going until end of 11hr flight. I also bought it to keep my Smartphone charged as my battery keeps dying. If my phone battery is low I have to use the outlet for tablets as the lower amp outlet is not sufficient to power my phone. Overall I like it and it has kept phone charged.

Kept me alive during a long trip
I normally have no problem with battery life, but during a long car trip I needed to use Waze and also stream a football game at the same time. This would normally have wiped out my phone after a couple of hours. Thanks to this little device I finished the trip with 100% battery charge on my iPhone.
