Be careful with this product
As you can see by my picture both of my fuses ended up melting in my solar system. I uploaded the fuse that was the most deformed. Let me give you my story. I have four 100 watt Renogy solar panels on my travel trailer roof. I have these panels wired in parallel. With this configuration the most amps that I could send to my charge controller is 24 amps. That is why I purchased and installed these 30 amp fuses. The first two months the fuse works as it should. Then one day my charge controller was not charging my batteries. I did some investigating and found a warped melted fuse housing. No problem, I bought two fuses. After installing the second fuse I paid more attention to it. I noticed right away that the fuse was getting hot. Never to hot to touch but hot. By the next day the second fuse was melted just like the first fuse in my attached picture. Now I was down to the 10 amp fuse that came with my Renogy solar kit. The fuse housing were the same size. I took the 30 amp fuse out of the melted and deformed housing and put it into the Renogy housing. My problem was solved. In the mean time I ordered two more Renogy 30 amp fuses.I am not an engineer, but I think that fuse housing configuration from DPJ is faulty and was creating resistance (HEAT). The construction of the Renogy inline fuse is different and makes a good tight connection. I see that I'm not the first person to report this issue.

Meltdown possibility
If you purchase these inline fuses, beware the fuse holder CAN MELT DOWN. If you purchase these fuses make sure the spring clips (most are made of brass, but these are crome) that hold the fuse in place must be squeezed to a smaller grip to properly hold the fuse in place, or the looseness of the connection will cause a fuse holder to heat and melt. You will also get sporadic voltages to your system.

Melted within 2 months
Had on my boat. As with all fuses, it was mounted near the power source (Panels) so was outside. Came to boat one day to find batteries VERY low. Checked and found the fuse holder had softened and bent, disconnecting the panels from the controller.
