Chef Knife 8 inch - Japanese Super Steel - Razor Sharp, Superb Edge Retention, Rust-Proof, Stain & Corrosion Resistant Chefs Knives

I was extremely surprised after receiving the knife. This knife feels solid, has a nice heft, and is very sharp. The edge retention I have experienced after months of use as well as steel hardness is absolute insanity at the price point.Not only does it look great, it performs extremely well. The design is unique and may make you wonder how it feels in the hand with its different shape, and well, it feels great. It does not slip out and feels natural to hold.I have owned this knife since May 2020, and have not sharpened it, because it just hasn't needed it. The edge retention amazes me every time I used it. It still goes through tomatoes with ease. In contrast, I have sharpened my Schmidt, Mercer, and Rada knives multiple times only to have them need to be sharpened after a couple of months while still one has not needed to be sharpened. This knife has even beat out my ceramic knives.This knife is a true performer that I have purchased for friends only because I want them to be just as surprised. I could easily see this knife selling at a retail store for $50 minimum. If I bought it at $50, I would still be very happy.

Nice looking, really sharp, great weight. A great utilitarian piece if cutlery. Would make a great gift to yourself or when someone is leaving home.

It feels full tang whenever I set the handle on a cutting board, I feel vibrations. I use this specific knife differently. I use my off hand to guide things into my knife hand. Slicing is actually effortless. I found that it's easy to find a knife sheath for this blade.

Have really have not had much chance to use it yet but looks very well made . Need a good pairing knife . Can you help with one of those ? Thank You .

Received the package with the knife sticking out, and the tip of the knife, broken and bent. Neither usable nor safe. Tried to return it, but it’s a nightmare so not worth the time. wasted money. Going to the trash (but at least I will wrap it so it doesn’t stab someone who is not expecting a knife to be sticking out of a box!!!)

I use it all the time so I purchased two more. Keeps a great edge. One would never believe this is a $10 Knife. Amazing.

El cuchillo en general bien, es elegante y firme al agarre. Buen filo. Bonita presentación.Por otro lado, al parecer dentro de su propio estuche no viene fijo, como se ve en las fotos, no venía sujeto y el protector de plástico fue insuficiente para protegerlo, incluso dañó la caja y se ven las marcas en el celofán. No se si sea desde origen y no creo que hubiera sido la paquetería porque llegó junto con otros artículos y es el único con desperfectos. Al ser un regalo, la persona no quiso devolverlo pero yo sí lo hubiera hecho. Quizá no fue extremadamente caro pero tampoco fue barato y uno no paga por cosas nuevas pero en mal estado.
