Essential tool for upper Yamaha upper bearing housing removal
During a recent water pump/shaft seal repair on my 2004 Yamaha F150TLRC outboard engine I was unable to remove the drive shaft upper bearing housing. As a result of corrosion it was stuck very tightly in the housing bore and refused to move in any direction. The MT0016 slide hammer puller is designed for this specific situation. It is well designed and is robust, and worth every dollar. I am a DIY guy and now own three of Marine Tech's special tools. I am impressed with each of them. At $197 this tool is not inexpensive, but it very quickly pays for itself on the first job, and you get to keep it for the next one!

This tool works wonderfully for removing the bearing carrier oil seal and other tasks where a bearing puller is needed. This tool is very well-built and of high-quality. I bought this with the intention of owning it for life, a tool that will not be useless after a few maintenances. This tool is exactly that one that will last a long long time and gets the nod done with ease.

My experience today at work
The tool is a game changer used it today at work . It took 15 seconds which normally can take 20 min. I’m a ten year Yamaha tech best method by far . Will not work on a trp though

Removes Crusty Bearing Carrier
I used this to remove an upper bearing carrier on a Yamaha F250. It was so eaten up with corrosion I had to replace the part. But these got that crusty part off with 3 slaps. Good product.

Bought it for 1 job I needed to do. It sits around alot now. Anyone want to buy it for 1/2 price?

Awesome quality, very effective tool.
Highly recommended, worked like a charm on my Yamaha 150 outboards. Could have never completed the job without it.

Incorrectly assembled no way to use the item
The item pictured would be exactly what I need the item that was shipped has no connecting parts for the puller arms and it's completely unusable
