No junk here aswell with any of their products ive purchased.they make quality optics as good as anyone else for the money if not better.buy it

I received this today after waiting in anticipation. The scopes box looked all bent up but not the outer Amazon box. The device itself looks nice but wouldn't even turn on. Replaced the batteries and nothing. This is an honest review from an honest customer. Do not buy this product. Buy one similar from a better known company. If you spend $300 on something it should work for more than a paper weight. Extremely disappointing.

The manufacturer says this monocular is good for paintball, which it is, despite being a bit heavy. Definitely use a remote CO2 tank and rest your arms often.The manufacturer pictures it for use with a red dot sight, but it did not perform at all with the NcSTAR red dot sight. The mirror portion of the sight was too reflective, so it obscured vision and didn't help targeting at all.However, after a few paintball sessions, the nightvision started shutting off after every shot. The unit was not hit by any paint or damaged during play at all. I tried replacing the batteries and reseating the mount, but nothing helped. This made the product useless for paintball.The gun is a Tippmann 98 Custom, and it has a decent amount of recoil, but I would expect the monocular to be able to handle it.

This is an entry level Gen 1 device, so realize the performance is going to be somewhere in the "acceptable" range....For the price, you are getting your dollars worth..... as it IS well designed & seems pretty solid.This unit scores high on form... as it's ergonomics are pleasing & it has a nice rubberized coating that helps keep it safe from accidental shock & water exposure. The size feels just about right, not too big or small...& it is relatively light.As far as function goes... it scores on the low side of things...as the light gathering ability of the tube is marginal.Yet, the onboard IR illuminator picks up the slack & makes up the difference as it works reasonably well.Optical clarity is just OK... as there is no lens coating to accentuate light gathering potential, yet the focus on the objective lens & eyepiece have a quality feel to it....as it feels both smooth & sure.This model is OK if you are not too concerned with stealth, as the IR light will give away your presence to both animals & others with NV.As far as that is concerned ... realize that nearly all NV scopes will at times require IR "help" to work in complete darkness... the difference is that 1st Gen need help most of the time & the 2nd 3rd 4th Gen devices do not need nearly as much IR assistance.It is what it is... if you accept that going in you're not going to be disappointed.

It functions as advertised for a four star rating. I would give all five but the weapon mount puts it's line of sight over the fight sight post of my AR-15. You will have to get an IR red dot with a mount to use it as a weapon sight, or use a IR laser. If this is in your price range, I would suggest this a entry level GEN 1 NV monocle.

The product arrived in a disheveled state. It had been repackage for whatever reason and repackaged sloppily. I paid premium money for a new product not some item that was obviously not new. The repackaging was enough for me, I did not need any further.
