Edit: I was bit harsh on my earlier comment. This is an update on that.The fan is certainly not aesthetically good but it's a very reliable fan. All these months it's used almost everyday and never miss a beat.Recently Usha started importing fans from China and hence I skipped that brand. My earlier China made Usha fan stopped after few months of use.This fan is very frustrating to assemble. There are no instructions manual provided. Parts does not fit smoothly. One have to work hard with tools to do it. The metal parts are of okay quality while the plastics are not great.Overall I recommend it from reliability point of view.

The media could not be loaded. I am not sure, the Almonard company does any quality check on their product.The fan mount is having issue, which is tilting the fan more than 20Degree, also the fan stop working if the speed button is pressed.I had seen Almonard, fan in many commercial places, hence i thought it will be good to use it, but unfortunately i see their quality is so pathetic, it has forced me change my thought on this company product.hence i have initiated a return of the unit,

Good quality product.good air flow. Full metal body, heavy copper motor, little costly but expect for quality buy almonard

1] The fan comes disassembled in 4 Parts 1) Fan Motor, 2) Fan control Switch box 3) Pipe to Raise Height. 4) BasePlate.2) There is no assembly catalogue, but its an easy Jigsaw to fit up with Home Tools3] The packaging of my Fan was third Class. Outer Carton Open. Inner Almonard 2 Cartons Torn. Fan & cartonsDusty.4) The fan Blade Guard was bent & touching the Blades. the cover was loose The Switch Box was stiff to operate.5] Corrected the bend of the fan Blade Guard, Opened & lubricated Switch operation.6] All Problems due to Packing & Packaging & damage in Transport.7] Assembled the fan with Home Tools (Or you can Call an Electrician)Rewiew of the FAN.1] If assembled Properly No Vibrations2] Fan speed is Very Good with good Air Delivery and throw.3] Aluminum blades make it noisy, But I am ok with it considering the air delivery.4] No question about the life as I have a friend who's using it Very Heavily for 5 yrs plus now.5] Dont forget to lubricate the motor with oil in the lubricating hole near the stationary / rotating Button.Most other fans are plastic structured, comparatively delicate and Not for sustained & Heavy Use.
