Good solid connections and an unobtrusive outlet.
This extension cord is perfect if you want to run a fan or other low/medium current devices when the nearest electrical outlet is out of reach. The 3 power sockets are stacked vertically on the outlet end, which means phone chargers like Samsung's slim ones (which have the USB socket on the side) can be used without interfering with the adjacent sockets. The receptacles are solid and provide a firm connection - you need to grasp both the plug and the outlet to firmly pull them apart, so you won't find plugs falling out if the cable is moved. The cable itself is rugged enough for household use, but I would not recommend it for a high traffic office area - I've seen extension cords in offices that have taken some major abuse. Its 16GA wiring can supply 13A total (@15ft - longer lengths require thicker wire to account for the electrical resistance of the copper), so you must not run high power devices (greater than 1625W for this power cord) otherwise the wire will heat up and potentially cause a fire ... This is true for all electrical wiring - Always choose the wire gauge depending on what you need to power and the distance it is from the wall outlet!I would certainly buy another if I need one, though the price is a little high compared to some I found at HEB stores.

Extension cords are meant to be used and actually moved around from time to time
Odd review title, right? Well, according to the paperwork that accompanies the extension cable I received (not the tag) you aren't supposed to move it around too much or the wire strands will break. That's 10 gallons of WTF stuffed into a 5 gallon container, that is.

Cord seems thick heavy duty but the outlets at the end are loose. Cords you connect at the end don't stay in well (cords were tested in other oultets an stay just fine). I would return it but I'd have take apart my cord cover kit under my flat screen to take it out. Currently held in place squeezed between my wall and tv console to keep plugs in place. Wouldn't buy again.

its cheap in both ways
One of two was so cheaply put together that the outlets only worked if the cable was propped at a very specific angle. The other one worked as expected with no issues. otherwise its an extension cord and sits behind a dresser , so it should work fine forever ? tossing the broken one was easier than a return.

Works as advertised
I haven't experienced any electrical issues while using it.Looks just like the picture.Material of the plug, sockets, wire, etc feels strong- not cheap, easily breakable plastic, but strong, durable material. It doesn't absorb any stains, as well.I have used it for a few months and it hasn't stained, chipped, nor broken.

Electrocution risk for two prong devices
The 25' cord I purchased seems well made except for one design flaw: The tail 'bar' for the sockets is slightly too _narrow_ to be safe for two prong devices. It is possible to plug in two prong cords to this such that one prong is connected inside, and the other is hanging outside where it can be touched. Yes I accidentally did this and nearly touched the exposed metal before I saw it.It's just one flaw, but it is a potentially _lethal_ flaw so I'm knocking off two stars for it.

Good quality
This is a good quality extention cord. One improvement I'd suggest is to put an outlet on the rear instead of having them all facing forward. This would make it easier to plug in devices with large blocks on power cords such as smart plugs or blow dryers.
