remarkable man behind genius tennis
I liked learning about Rogers childhood history. The book really gave me a sense of his personality beyond what I have been able to gather from watching him on television.I was shocked at the exponentially curved tax rate for him in Basel 96% ( even the rate in Zurich 68%).Would love to learn if his Dubai address helps him out. Love all his charity/ foundation work. Outstanding leadership!Chris Bowers gives an excellent account of Rogers rise to the top including a better sense of the many struggles to get there and stay there. Class act but human.Looking forward to his personal autobiography where he can add further to what he thought and felt both on and off the court.

I enjoyed reading his earlier life giving me an incite into how Roger got to where he is now . If a tennis fan it makes good reading Briley

This is a nice review of RF's career
This is a nice review of RF's career, nicely written, but a bit tedious and it does lack a lot of personal thoughts from RF,granted it is not an authorized book but it whets your appetite for Roger's own when he chooses to write it. Cactus Ken

I love Rodger BUT......
I'm sorry to say that it's a book I didn't finish. If your into statistics and just tournaments and very little about Rodgers life except dor the very beginning then this book is for you, it was similar to Adam Gilchrists book, all about games, I wanted more about the man. There was still some interesting snippets about his moods etc but I wanted something much more personal. Sorry about that.

The best Sports man of All Times
I saw Federer when he was 18 years and he had yet to win any major tittles and he had such a terrific one handed back hand and he could produce winners in crunch situations which is the hall mark of a champion. I have admired him and loved his game which got better and better as he aged. During the US Open 2015 he was spoken of as the greatest sportsman of all times. During a carrier of 20 years he has won the maximum number of slams which everybody knows but he has appeared in the maximum number of slam finals a record which is going to be very, very difficult to beat. Above as his biographer makes him as not only an outstanding person but a person with such compassionate and true to the dictum of supermen, "My word is my honor," has been his life.I believe that he is truly the best sports man of all times. Sure there will be others but it will take a long time.I loved reading Chris Bower make a champion human.

Roger Federer's Biography
Read this book and rated it the same as Federer's Biography because in a lot of ways they are very similar. Thoroughly enjoyed reading them both.

While the subject matter is nothing short of amazing, the book is strenuously written and laborious at times. The book could have been so much better. Still, inspiring read about the greatest player of all time.

The elegant swiss Gentleman never without his ball and racket very far from his hand
Roger Federer has inspired me as I have watched his carera pass through the years. His ability to reign In his temper, which got in his way, many times in the yunior years, to control his inpatients and frustrations at not winning, as to get to the top of the Game has always been his aim.Early years he was amongst the big players.... Not another dedicated player in the game of tennis...thank you for the hours of watching, often I could not watch, as I became so nervous and on edge, and the play could have moved either way,,,, my stomach couldn't take the tension!!!....really don't know how you have the strength, passion, determination hard work.... For so long.......But we thank you for every game you have watched...... And don't want to know when you will leave to hang up you racket

A legend with human frailties
The Champion called Roger Federer painted in all shades. Would the world ever see such artistry in the emerging power game of Tennis after the God of Tennis leaves the arena?

Perda de tempo
Não dá para considerar uma biografia pois relata mais os jogos vencidos e perdidos: sets e games do que a vida e as emoções do tenista. Quem sabe quando ele escrever sua bio saia algo melhor.
