I'm giving this dog cookbook the full 5 stars, even though I'm getting rather sick of books "written" by people's pets. The photographs are worth the price alone, but the recipes are fabulous and healthful. There's also a Table of Equivalents included in the back. There are also marvelous quotations sprinkled throughout of famous people's feelings about dogs.I'm giving this book as a gift, too.

Great recipes. Book is more than described. Eros, a retired K-9 only got "dog" food all of his life. He's always been special, but now feels privileged to receive these great snacks just because.... no strings or work attached.

I liked the book for several reasons: good recipes, little tidbits of information on the page. Easy to read.Recipes can be used for me also, pictures of dogs were cute.they had meals and treats.I have it in with my recipes books right on my counter. Fun!

Most of the dishes I have fixed in here for my dogs they have loved. Dogs don't particularly like spicy food.

The author was entertaining, however, I would probably not have purchased this book had I looked at it in a store.
