One of the Best, BUT this time, there were small cuts through bottom of bag
Over many, many years, our 7 dogs have benefited from this quality food. To start with, the owners ensured it would help their customers solve allergy problems with their fur babies. From the ingredients to the manufacturing in smaller batches at lower temperatures, this food stands above most of the other brands. If you have any questions, the owners are just a phone call away. Of course, this is my opinion as well as Frisbie's, LucyAnn's, Beemer's, Mitzie's, Bosco's, Babycakes', and Reese's. Yes it cost a little more, but we've benefited in their longevity with little health problems therefore less Vet bills. This was the first time I ever ordered Brothers Complete from Amazon. I would have given it 5 stars, but after I would get product out of the bag and then push air out to tightly close it up, I heard air coming out. I finally realized it was coming out of two slits on the bottom, not the top. Probably made by a box cutter. So, not sure how fresh it stayed. I'm sure this was a fluke. Despite that experience, I would encourage everyone to try Brothers Complete brands. All our fur babies in group shot have gone over the rainbow bridge. Other photo, Reese (and brother Tigger the cat), are still with us.

Do the math and you will save money with this food!
We have a blind and deaf collie (we fostered and now adopted) who has anxiety and tummy issues. For 6 months I tried feeding different foods including organic, high quality and/or high priced foods but all gave him the runs. He is very skinny! Last month we switched him to Brothers. We now feed a lot less, he poops a lot less and his poops are actually formed. He has also, already, gained a couple pounds. I am so pleased with this food. Yes, it is expensive BUT if you work it out how much money it will cost you to feed this daily, it will most likely be cheaper. For example, we were feeding 2 1/2 cups a day of brand "X" at 66.50 (with the subscribe and save). For a 21lb bag it costs us $2.02 per day to feed. With Brothers we feed 2 cups a day at $80 for a 25lb bag, it costs us $1.60 a day. I am also very pleased that this food is non gmo. I understand that dogs have a short intestinal tract but more and more dogs these days are having digestive issues and I believe feeding a good quality food is key. The customer service is also wonderful! Before switching, I called the company directly and was surprised to speak with the owner himself. He took the time to answer all my questions and give me some advice on feeding. I couldn't be more pleased with a food or with the company. I highly recommend this food!

BUY THIS!!!!
I was at my wit's end when I decided to try this advanced allergy food on a whim after reading about it. At the time, my mini doxie, Riley, was on antibiotics and an anti fungal for a very bad skin infection, mostly caused by his nonstop biting and chewing of his paws, legs, etc. He takes Apoquel daily, but the doctor wanted to do various allergy testing and food tests. I don't mind spending the money on things to get him well, but he was miserable and my heart was breaking. While the antibiotics contributed to the healing of the infection, this food has done the rest of the work. Two weeks off the antibiotic, and his coat is shiny and smooth. He almost never bites or scratches now, and for the first time ever, his belly has little peach fuzz hair growing on it! He seems so much happier! All I can say is thank you a million times over. For ANYONE experiencing any of what we were, take a chance and give this food a try. It takes a couple of weeks and your dog will likely need a period of time to get used to the different food, but it is truly the best product we have found yet--and we have tried a million! He didn't like the turkey much, but he absolutely loves the lamb. We took it slow and added it to his food over a course of a week to keep his digestion fairly normal. Good luck!

Price Increase, no customer service = I don't trust the food itself. Dog vomits often after eating it.
2 times in a row, this food was somehow "lost" in the mail... then the third time, it was received with the bag punctured and opened. This doesn't ever happen with any other items I order. I order a lot and plenty of things are as heavy as this, if not more. They also continue to raise the price. This started at $79, which is no doubt a ridiculously huge profit for them (understand a company needs to make money, but it's gotten greedy), then it increased it $85. Now it's $88 (edit now it’s over $89)What are you doing, Brothers? I wrote to them about the issues as well and received no response. Amazon, on the other hand, took full responsibility (Brothers, take note on customer service). It seems they're going to raise the price constantly to see how much they can get out of people and if enough people will stick around at their insanely inflated prices. Nothing could have changed in 2 months, enough to warrant a $10 (12%) per bag price increase. In addition to the high price The lack of customer service is baffling. I simply can't trust a company that doesn't value their customers. It really appears to be a rip off and because of this, I'm concerned about how they process the food and what their morals are when it comes to the safety of what we're putting inside our pets. They claim to be a small company, focused on the wellbeing of our pets, but words are words. I am not seeing it in actions. As far as the food goes, my dog pukes it up, undigested, several hours after eating it semi-often. She has a slow down dish and hasn't had this issue with other brands of food. I don't believe it is a brand that digests well, despite their claims. Remember: a high price tag doesn't always mean better. I'll be purchasing my last bag in order to wean my dog off of it and onto a much more affordable and trustworthy brand recommended by both the veterinarian in my family, and a top breeder in the country.
