The French Bun Rollers are great for a fast nicely done bun
Let's make so hair bun :The French Bun Rollers are great for a fast nicely done bun! This is my first time to use this to fix my hair and it works really good! It is easy to use and it works great! I used black to match the color of my hair. Very nice! I could use this anytime I want 'coz it's just easy to use unlike to other kind of hair fixer.I'm satisfied of this, love it.

Let me say I feel if your hair is all ...
Let me say I feel if your hair is all one lenth they probably work better… My hair is cut in layers so I found that when I tried to pull it through some Hair would get away and made the rolling process harder and then of course the closing process left a lot of loose ends. Also they want to close really quickly sometimes when you’re not ready for them to close so you have to kind a struggle to keep them in place till you have that where you want them .

I use it to create waves in my fine hair!
I have somewhat longer (two inches past my shoulders), straight and very fine hair and these work well for me. I use them to roll my slightly damp hair, with a bit of product, up into a loose bun at night. In the morning, I have wavy hair with nice body and I never use a curling iron or blowdryer. I will even wear it to work in the morning and let it set until lunch (since it just looks like a loose bun) and voile: nicely waved hair with some body. It’s not easy to get body and waves in my fine, limp hair, so I use this thing a lot, particularly for travel since it weighs next to nothing/a lot less than a blowdyer/curling iron. The ONLY catch: they don’t last long. I get a couple of months of use out of one and then the wire breaks, so I have to order a new one. I just order sets so I have a few on hand when one of them breaks. The best way to get fine hair to stay: get it slightly damp and use some product, like split end repair, to saturate the very ends of your hair so when you roll it up, it stays in the roll without slipping out. Fine hair doesn’t stay in these rolls easily, so it took me a while to figure this out. I also spray some of my favorite Aveda hair spray all over my hair before I roll it, which also helps it to stay in the roll/not slip out.I used to use that Charlie Curl product, but it, too, broke after just a couple of months of use. So, I switched to this product because the Charlie curl was 20 times the price and gave me the exact same results = why spend more money to get the exact same results. Yes, these break too, but they are much more affordable to replace!

Awesome for a quick, beautiful bun!
I ordered these for my daughter. She has long silky hair and whenever I’ve tried to do a bun I end up with several elastics and a ton of bobby puns that hurt her head. I’m loving these bun makers! I can put her hair in a bun quickly, and after a day at school and playing her hair stayed in! I’m loving these a lot more than the other products I’ve bought for an “easy” bun! And love the hair color these come in!

Biggest complaint was it was hard to get out.
Did not work as expected. Biggest complaint was it was hard to get out.Bought these to use while doing yoga. My hair goes to about the middle of my back and is not layered. I wasn't able to successfully use the product by myself with or without my hair in a ponytail. (Watched a bunch of how to videos and spent a good hour and a half between a few days trying to get it to work, seemed like everyone had shorter hair then me.) When I did manage to get it up for the most part (always had some hair hanging out) I would try to take it out to use again. It was REALLY hard to remove it. Gave up because I felt like I was damaging my hair.Gave to my mom to try and her hair is a little bit longer then shoulder length and she also had problems. (I believe mostly with getting out as well.)The ends of the wraps looked cheap. (The white and black stuff.) Looked like someone unevenly wrapped it with medical tape or scrap cloth.

Not good for fine hair
Easy to use but trying to remove it from your hair is a nightmare. Hair gets tied within the wire (that needs to be padded more) and overall it creates a VERY loose bun, as in, doesn't stay up for very long no matter how many times I redo it. I wanted to like them but cannot.

Simple but effective
A lot of girls can pull off perfect buns and now I know why!Achieving a perfect bun look with this bun maker is a bit challenging but worth it. It took me some time to do it nicely. The roll keeps the bun in place and secure. It doesn't come off easily. The brown one matches my hair color so no worries when the bun maker shows from the outside.I love that it helps me achieve that perfect donut bun!

Just ok
I used the small one and by the end of the day it was starting to fall out. Also, before I could even use them I had to cut open the center as they did not so it!
